INCIDENT:           Theft from Vehicle          

DATE/TIME:         01/12/2012 @ 1454 Hours

LOCATION:         1700 Block of Marion Quimby Drive, Stevensville

VICTIM:                Amy J. Allen of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that her white Calvin Klein winter coat was missing from her Honda Civic. The theft is believed to have occurred around January 8th and the coat was valued at $250.

INCIDENT:           Medical Emergency

DATE/TIME:         01/12/2012 @ 2028 Hours

LOCATION:         Bayside Drive, Stevensville

VICTIM:                Male (22) from Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies were dispatched to the residence for a male who had taken an overdose of prescription medicine. Investigation also indicated a recent small cut on his wrist. The subject was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that a Tom Tom GPS  and a red Nintendo DS had been stolen from his Mazda Van during the night. Items were valued at $250

LOCATION:         300 Block of Main Street, Stevensville

VICTIM:                Amanda C. Russell of Stevensville

ARREST:               Michael Darnell Jarman Jr. (48) of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported her boyfriend and she had gotten into a heated argument during which he threw a bottle of ketchup at her and poured a bottle of orange juice on her head. She stated he then grabbed her and stomped her left foot. Her boyfriend, Michael Jarman had then fled the residence and was located nearby and placed into custody. After processing he was taken before a District Court Commissioner who set a bond of $3000 which was posted and the subject was released.

LOCATION:         Queen Victoria Way, Chester

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that her 1995 Honda Prelude had been scratched in several locations during the night. She reported that the car had just been painted the week before and the incident may be over the parking situation in the area. Damage was estimated at $400.

DATE/TIME:         01/15//2012 @ 0310 Hours

LOCATION:         McGinnis Road near Double Creek Road, Chestertown

ARREST:               Garnet Grant Picard (24) of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:       Subject was stopped on McGinnis Road (RT 544) after Dfc. Watts observed his gold Toyota crossing the center line and shoulder line. Driver was identified as Garnet Picard. Dfc. Watts detected an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and requested Picard attempt field sobriety tasks. Based on her observations, Dfc. Watts placed Mr. Picard under arrest and charged him with DWI, Failure to drive right of Center and failure to display driver’s license on demand. He was later released to a parent at the scene.

LOCATION:         St. Mary’s Road, Chester

VICTIM:                Robert C. Sylvester of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported missing currency and precious metal coins from his residence. The cash and coins were in a secure location and last checked in November of 2011. Today when he went to check he discovered the theft. The loss is estimated at over $25,000. The Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit is assigned the case.

LOCATION:         900 Block of John Brown Road, Centreville

VICTIM:                Queenstown Bank

 

NARRATIVE:        It was reported that a foreclosed house had been damaged while vacant. Damages included broken windows, several areas spray painted inside, holes in the drywall and several doorways. The damages are believed to have occurred in late December and are estimate at over $20,000.

LOCATION:         Chester Harbor Community Park, Chestertown

VICTIM:                Home Owners Association

 

NARRATIVE:        It was reported by a homeowner that three young males in black hooded sweatshirts were bouncing the community dock and then shook the picnic tables at the location. One of the tables was shaken hard enough to cause it to collapse. Damage was estimated at $50.
