INCIDENT:            MDOP

DATE / TIME:       12/05/2013 @ 0812 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:           Church Meadow Court, Chestertown (QA)

VICTIM:                Kaitlyn Slavin of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim reported unknown person had cut the electric cord to her pink Christmas blow-up pig yard decoration. Damage was estimated at $30.

LOCATION:           Calvert Road, Stevensville, MD

 

NARRATIVE:         Female resident (21) of the house reported being out with friends and getting into an altercation with another female which resulted in her getting hit in the face. The next morning her mother saw the victim with a black eye and believed the victim’s boyfriend had struck her. The brother of the victim allegedly then assaulted the boyfriend who left the residence. None of the persons involved wanted charges. All were advised of their options thru the court system.

INCIDENT:            Theft from a vehicle

DATE / TIME:       12/05/2013 @ 1643 Hours

LOCATION:           Mowbray Park, Stevensville

VICTIM:                Christine D. Walters of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim reported parking at the park and upon returning to her Toyota 4dr car, she saw that her rear window was broken out and a black tote bag missing. The bag contained the victim’s wallet, work related items and an estimated $80 in cash.

 

The stolen credit card was used a short time later at several locations in Stevensville and Cape St. Clair. The suspect appeared to be a white male driving a newer style black Chevrolet Impala.

 

The bag was located at the 7/11 on Dominion Road and returned to the owner by a citizen.

DATE / TIME:       12/06/2013 @ 0830 Hours

LOCATION:           1700 Block of Ruthsburg Road, Centreville

VICTIM:                Jennifer L. Koon of Centreville

ARREST:               Steven Michael Petrone Jr. (29) of Centreville

CHARGE:              Assault 2nd Degree & Violation of a Protective Order

 

NARRATIVE:         Units responded to location for a reported domestic. On arrival the victim was holding a towel for a laceration to her head. It was reported that Petrone had become angry because Koon was talking to another person on the phone and he then threw a clay pot at her striking her in the head. It was also learned that Koon had an active Protection Order against Petrone.

 

Steven Petrone was placed under arrest at the scene and after processing, later held on No Bond.

INCIDENT:            Theft from a Motor Vehicle

LOCATION:           100 Block of Greenwood Creek, Queenstown

VICTIM:                Timothy J. Schmidt of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim reported finding his 2007 Toyota pickup had been broken into overnight a some cash in the truck was missing. Damage was estimated @ $1000.

INCIDENT:            Burglary

DATE / TIME:       12/06/2013 @ 1012 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:           1900 Block of Bayside Drive, Chester

VICTIM:                Michael & Karen Kendra of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:         Victims advised shortly after moving in September, there had been a day when they found doors ajar which shouldn’t have been. In November they discovered several jewelry items missing but believed they had been misplaced during the move. On 12/6 they reported a possible burglary  and listed the jewelry as several sets of diamond earrings, a yellow gold fan shaped cocktail ring and a pendant on a silver chain. The various items had an estimated value of $5000.

 

Investigation has tied the incident to a burglary ring that has committed numerous burglaries from Baltimore County to Talbot & Caroline counties. Investigation continues.

LOCATION:           200 Block of Fourth Street, Crumpton

 

NARRATIVE:         Deputies responded to the residence for a report of a husband and wife fighting over a wallet.  Neither of the persons involved had visible injuries and both were advised of their options thru the court system.

INCIDENT:            Burglary

DATE / TIME:       12/06/2013 @ 1654 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:           400 Block of Legion Road, Millington

VICTIM:                Andrew Collins of Millington

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim reported someone had broken into his shed and stolen 48 Avery oversized blue bill decoys valued at $600. The theft occurred sometime between November 28th and December 1st.

INCIDENT:            Violation of Protection Order

DATE / TIME:       12/06/2013 & 12/07/2013

LOCATION:           6154 Main Street, Queenstown

VICTIM:                Margaret Thomas of Queenstown

ARREST:               Randy Thomas (48) of Queenstown

CHARGE:              Violation of Protection Order

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim reported she was at the Queenstown Moose Lodge and her husband who she had a Protective Order against was there and had approached her. Deputies responded and located Mr. Thomas and placed him under arrest on a warrant charging him with three counts of violating the Protective Order.  Mr. Thomas was later released on his personal recognizance by a District Court Commissioner. Dfc. Steenken then transported Mr. Thomas to his residence and released.

At 0005 Hours on 12/7, a second call was dispatched that Mr. Thomas had returned to the Moose and confronted Mrs. Thomas in the bar. Dfc. Steenken responded and placed Mr. Thomas under arrest again charging him with Violation of a Protective Order. A second visit to the District Court Commissioner resulted in Mr. Thomas being held on a No Bond at the QA Detention Center.

LOCATION:           110 Kent Landing, Stevensville

VICTIM:                Chelsea K. Davenport of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:         Victim reported that she had left her cell phone on the counter while working and discovered it missing. Victim stated that there was an upset customer at the counter earlier and believed she may have taken the phone. The black iPhone 4s was valued at $600.

DWI ARRESTS

Lonnie Paul Meyers Sr. (43) of Chestertown, MD

Stopped on 12/04/2013 @ 2324 Hours on RT 301 near Queenstown by Deputy Scott Hogan.  He was charged with DWI.

 

Shannon Lynn Brady (43) of Chestertown, MD.

Stopped on 12/08/2013 @ 0143 Hours traveling Northbound in the Southbound lane of RT 301 near RT 213 by  Deputy Chris Ahearn. She was charged with DWI, Assault 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.
