INCIDENT:           Theft

DATE / TIME:      02/08/2013 @ 1837 Hours

LOCATION:         1300 Block of Goldsboro Road, Barclay

VICTIM:               Deborah Bowden of Barclay

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported having her oil tank at her residence filled on January 10th and on today’s date found it to be empty. Her fuel company was contacted and verified there were no leaks in her oil tank or lines. The fuel company also said based on previous usage the tank should still have 85+ gallons. The missing oil was valued at $600.

INCIDENT:           DWI Arrest

DATE / TIME:      02/08/2013 @ 2020 Hours

LOCATION:         Postal Road @ RT 18, Chester

 

ARREST:               Richard Claire Graff (57) of Chester

CHARGE:              DWI

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputy saw a black Camaro on Postal Road nearly strike the curb and then jerked suddenly back into travel lane. The Camaro then crossed the center line several times before turning onto Cox Neck Road. The Camaro accelerated and crossed into the opposite lane. The vehicle was stopped on Stevens Drive. Driver identified by a MD driver’s license as Richard Graff. While talking with the driver, the deputy smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage and observed several indications of a possible DWI. When asked to exit the car, Mr. Graff refused and began to start the car. The deputy then opened the door and ordered the driver to exit the car and he did. After attempting to complete Field Sobriety Tasks, Mr. Graff was placed under arrest for DWI. He was taken into custody and transported the Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. After the charging documents were completed, he was released to a sober family member.

INCIDENT:           Counterfeit Currency

LOCATION:         115 Blue Jay Court, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Cracker Barrel

 

NARRATIVE:        Asst. Manager reported that one of the cashiers during the day accepted a $20 Bill which was counterfeit. Unfortunately they were unsure who was the subject that passed it. The bill has been seized and placed into evidence.

LOCATION:         1900 Block of Stulltown Road, Sudlersville

VICTIM:               Terri Daniels of Sudlersville

ARREST:               Jeffery Paul Daniels (30) of Sudlersville

CHARGE:              Assault

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputy was called to residence for a domestic. It was learned that Mr. Daniels had been drinking and attempted to leave with a child. During efforts to stop him, Mrs. Daniels was pushed several times and had a phone taken away from her. Mrs. Daniels had several fresh red marks / bruise on her face, leg, arm and back. Mr. Daniels was placed under arrest and after processing at Sheriff’s Headquarters was released on his own recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

VICTIM:               Mark Mayberry of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that his utility trailer had been vandalized by someone spray painting the front with obscene looking graffiti. His truck tag had also been covered with red spray paint. Damages were estimated at under $500.

VICTIM:               Male (33) of Church Hill

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to location for a male subject with thoughts of harming himself. It was also reported that a knife had been taken away from him. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Chester River Medical Center for treatment.

LOCATION:         425 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:               Gucci

 

NARRATIVE:        Supervisor at the Gucci Store reported that a group of persons came into the store and split up. While the male stayed near the door, the three women were seen on video taking several items including a gray baby’s vest valued at $139 and a gray baby’s coat with a value of $500. The items were concealed in their pocketbooks and then proceeded to leave the store setting off the sensor alarm. The group was last seen leaving the mall in three separate vehicles.

INCIDENT:           Possession of CDS – Not Marijuana

DATE / TIME:      02/09/2013 @ 2335 Hours

LOCATION:         RT 50 near RT 456 near Queenstown

 

ARREST:               James Robert Stephenson Jr. (43) of Bridgeville DE

CHARGE:              Possession of CDS (PCP)

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputy stopped a 2006 4 Door Chrysler for a minor offense. While speaking with the driver, the deputy saw the passenger acting very suspiciously. A K9 scan was done and the passenger was found to be in possession of a small vial of suspected PCP tucked in his sweat pants. After processing the suspect was released on his own recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

LOCATION:         200 Block of Tower Point Road, Centreville           

VICTIM:               Henry & Donna Stutzman of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victims reported realizing that a jewelry box was missing from the master area. A more detailed search indicated that a large amount of jewelry was missing from the residence including an antique gold bracelet, a black titanium bracelet, silver bracelets, earrings, two French Garon watches coins and a black onyx man’s ring. The items have an estimated value over $6500. Investigation remains open assigned to the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation unit.

NARRATIVE:        Citizen reported seeing a bicycle in the field for a couple of weeks. Since it was in decent shape and remaining there prompted a call to the Sheriff’s Office. The bike was placed into property held. The owner may claim the bike by calling (410) 758-0770.

NARRATIVE:        Resident of the house called and reported a female who had been drinking and was now upset and armed with a knife threatening to harm herself.  The female was taken into custody and taken by patrol car to Easton Memorial Hospital for treatment.

LOCATION:         Kimberly Way, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Male (41) of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to location for a report of a male subject off of medication and having issues about persons following and spying on him. The man was very cooperative and taken into custody, then transported by patrol car to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.
