INCIDENT:           Theft

DATE / TIME:      02/13/2017 @ 1630 Hours (reported)

LOCATION:         Piney Narrows Road, Chester

 

CHARGED:           Jamie Raygene Bartholomew (23) of Centreville

 

DETAILS:              Victim reported that January 26th when she returned to her residence, she discovered her light blue Dinocraft Magna Bicycle valued at $200 was missing. She recalled a stranger described as a short white male was walking in the neighborhood that morning.

 

On February 13th she and a friend were driving on Main Street in Chester, when they noticed that Shore Pawn had a light blue Dinocraft Magna Bicycle outside in front of Shore Pawn.

Contact was made with the owner of the pawn shop who supplied the record of the transaction. On January 31st  Jamie Bartholomew had pawned the bike for $20. Records show that Bartolomew is listed at 5’00”. The victim also identified Bartolomew as the man she saw walking in her neighborhood.

A Criminal Summons was issued charging Bartholomew with Theft.

INCIDENT:           Theft / Burglary

LOCATION:         Piver Lane, Millington

 

DETAILS:              Victim reported missing several items from his residence including a tan Breedlove mandolin in a case, a Hohner harmonica, and a Burswood Guitar. There was no sign of a break-in and the last time the items were seen was sometime before Christmas. The items were valued at over $2000.

 

The theft remains under investigation…

INCIDENT:           Burglary / Theft from Vehicle

DATE / TIME:      02/11/2017 @ 1536 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         200 & 300 Block of Claiborne Drive, Centreville

 

DETAILS:              1st Victim reported someone had entered the garage of his vacant house and took several wrenches and sockets from a toolbox still at the residence. The tools were valued at $100.

 

While canvasing the neighbor, a second victim was located a block away. This victim stated he had left his wallet in his unlocked truck overnight. Victim discovered the theft later in the day when he went to purchase a pizza. The wallet contained about $70 cash and bank cards.

LOCATION:         300 Block of 4th Street Crumpton

 

DETAILS:              Victim reported that sometime between 1800 to 2000 hours, unknown person bent her Direct TV satellite dish in half. There are no suspects at this time.

INCIDENT:           CDS possession (Not Marijuana)

DATE / TIME:      02/08/2017 @ 0330 Hours

LOCATION:         500 Block of Brownsville Road, Centreville, MD

 

DETAILS:              Deputy Martz patrolling in the area saw a vehicle parked at a house under construction. A closer check showed there were three persons in the car and when contacted none of the subjects had ID. While speaking with the occupants, a paper bag with small baggies on the driver’s floor was observed.

 

When a backup unit arrived, the driver later identified as Quintez Lemaine Gross of Centreville bolted from the car and ran from the scene. A canvas of the area failed to locate Gross, who it was learned had an outstanding warrant from the Chestertown Police.

 

The other occupants were detained at the scene. A search of the car resulted in the seizure of CDS paraphernalia the two occupants. The two were husband (53) and wife (61) and were from Salisbury. They were released at the scene with charges pending.

LOCATION:         441 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

 

CHARGED:           Andrew D. Doran (34) of Lincoln, DE

 

DETAILS:              Victim and Suspect met at the Outlets , their pre-arranged child exchange location. While there a verbal argument occurred which then lead to Doran head-butting the victim. A few more words were exchanged before Doran leaving.

 

Charges were filed charging Doran on a Criminal Summons for Assault. (CS is unserved at this time.)

 

Victim advised he wasn’t injured.

DATE / TIME:      2/13/2017 @ 0820 Hours

LOCATION:         RT 213 near RT 50, Wye Mills

 

DETAILS:              Passing motorist saw an item on the side of the road and stopped to take a closer look. What he found was a control unit for a drone which appears to be in working condition which was turned in to the Sheriff’s Office.

DETAILS:              It was reported that sometime between 2/10 and 2/13 someone had driven on all of the various fields causing an estimated $7000 damage.
