DATE / TIME:     02/19/2014 @ 0935 Hours

LOCATION:         5100 Block of Main Street, Grasonville

VICTIM:              Cardyn L. Blake of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim advised she had allowed a subject to stay at her residence but recently had asked him to move out. Victim advised on 2/18 she had placed his belongings outside the residence. That evening while watching TV her cable went out and in the morning she found the line had been cut.

LOCATION:         Old Love Point Park / Mattapeake Elementary School

VICTIM:              Mary E. Owens of Grasonville

Andrea M. Byrne of Stevensville

Michelle L. Leatherman of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:       Victims Owens and Byrne reported parking their vehicles at Old Love Point Road Park and left for a walk. Upon returning to their vehicles, a Honda Pilot and a Honda Odyssey they found each had a window smashed and their purses missing. Ms. Owens purse was a brown Michael Kors with credit cards and her ID. Ms.Byrne’s purse was a salmon color Nine West purse with credit cards and ID.

 

Just after clearing this call, Michelle Leatherman reported her Cadillac Escalade had been broken into while parked at the Mattapeake elementary school. Missing was her light blue Michael Kors purse with credit cards and prescription medication.

LOCATION:         500 Block of Lime Landing Road, Millington

VICTIM:              Joseph Goodman of Millington

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported that someone had shot the windshields on his 1999 Dodge Truck and his RV with a BB or Pellet gun. Damages were estimated at $900-$1000.

LOCATION:         200 Kent Landing, Stevensville

VICTIM:              K Mart

ARREST:              Pending

 

NARRATIVE:       Store Security reported observing a male suspect placing two packs of t-shirts into his coat and attempt to leave the store. Outside the store the man was confronted and dropped the shirts and fled on foot. The suspect is local and has been identified with charges pending.

LOCATION:         1100 Block of Butterworth Court, Stevensville

VICTIM:              Dennis Tice of Harwood, MD

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported missing a green 14 foot Jon boat and a large amount of Christmas lights from a storage unit. Victim advised he discovered the boat missing on the 6th and the lights missing on the 20th but waited until the 21st to report it. Victim gave the deputy two pad locks that had been cut in order to gain access.

LOCATION:         Queen Anne Road / Romancoke Road Stevensville

VICTIM:              QA County Roads

 

NARRATIVE:       Several stop signs in the area had been spray painted with letters. The Kent Island trail sign had also been vandalized. Damages were estimated between $300 – $400 .

LOCATION:         700 Block of Kimberly Way, Stevensville

VICTIM:              Jennifer Hunt of Stevensville

ARREST:              Pending

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported a friend of her husband’s had been staying with them for several weeks. Today she saw the man leaving her bedroom and upon checking her purse realized $100 was missing. Victim states she yelled at the man who was leaving and her husband chased him to his car. The man continued to leave with the cash and they called for the Sheriff’s Office.

 

Charges are pending.

LOCATION:         Cheslou Road, Chester, MD

VICTIM:              Mark Johnson of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported his Tow Master tilt bed tow dolly missing from his residence. The dolly was white with blue wheel wells and valued at $1000.  A neighbor advised seeing a blue car with a trailer earlier in the week. The theft occurred sometime between February 17th and the 23rd.

02/16/2014        Thomas Willard Dodd III (50) of Queenstown.  Location of the stop was Carmichael Road near RT 50. Charged with DWI & Driving without a license

 

02/22/2014        Michaela Helene McCauley (20) of Ridgely – Stopped on Main Street near Kent Narrows, Grasonville.
