NARRATIVE:       Victim reported missing 2 water pumps, 2 circulator pumps and an alternator from his boat  at Kentmoor Marina, The items, last seen in October 2011 were painted blue and valued at $1200.

LOCATION:         North Lake Drive, Stevensville

VICTIM:                Female (37) of Stevensville

ARREST:               Male (16) of Stevensville

CHARGES:           Assault

 

NARRATIVE:       Sheriff’s units responded to the residence for a report of a parent being assaulted by their son. Prior to arrival the juvenile had fled the scene. Victim reported that the boy had tried to push down the steps, hit her and put his arms around her neck. A picture and wall was also damaged. The juvenile was not located that evening by Sheriff’s Deputies and was referred to Juvenile Services for Assault. He subsequently returned to his home according to the parents.

INCIDENT:           Vehicle Theft & MDOP

DATE / TIME:      02/04/2012 @ 0834 Hours

LOCATION:         Castle Marina Road, Chester

VICTIM:                Thomas Moore of Spectrum Painting

 

NARRATIVE:       Anne Arundel County Police advised they had recovered a 1998 Ford work van near Annapolis owned by Spectrum Painting located in Chester. The owner of the business was unaware that the van was missing. The van had a smashed window and damaged ignition requiring that it be towed to QA for repair. Damage was estimated @ $1000.

 

At 1319 Hours, the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Sharon Metzgar of Queenstown who reported that she had left her 2004 Ford Taurus at the Bay Bridge Tire & Auto on Friday evening to be serviced. On Saturday, the business called advising her that the car had been broken into and the ignition damaged. Damage to the car was estimated at $1200.

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported an irrigation system damaged, after unknown person(s) cut and removed copper wire from three sections. The damage was estimated at $3600. The system was checked earlier that morning around 0300 and was found to be okay, however by 1000 hours the theft had occurred.

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported that the tags on her 1997 Ford truck were in place on the previous day when she drove it to the Queen Anne’s County High School. Once returning home later in the day, she noticed the rear tag to be missing.

INCIDENT:           Possession of CDS

DATE / TIME:      02/04/2012 @ 2200 Hours

LOCATION:         Rt. 19 near Rt. 405 near Church Hill

ARREST:               Edward Allen Starkey (49) of Church Hill

CHARGES:           Possession of CDS ( Not Marijuana)

 

NARRATIVE:       A 1996 Buick was stopped by A/Cpl. Larry Steenken for speeding on Rt. 19 near Church Hill. The driver (lone occupant) handed the deputy a MD ID Card and advised he did not have a license. MVA records indicated he was revoked and was placed under arrest. Inside the vehicle a baggie was located with suspected cocaine. After processing, Mr. Starkey was released by a District Court Commissioner on an Unsecured $3000 bond.

INCIDENT:           DWI & MV Collision

DATE / TIME:      02/05/2012 @ 1325 Hours

LOCATION:         Thompson Creek Road, Stevensville

ARREST:               Scott Alden Ebling (48) of Westminster, MD

CHARGES:           DWI – Leaving the Scene of an accident – Driving Suspended & Revoked – Failure to control Vehicle

 

NARRATIVE:       Sheriff’s units were dispatched to the area of 300 Thompson Creek Road (Food Lion), Stevensville for a report of a grey Cadillac having left the roadway and striking a tree. Prior to arrival it was reported by several persons that the driver  was described as a tall bald man wearing a burgundy sweater. possibly intoxicated and had left the scene on foot. Dfc. Kellogg located the suspect near Kmart. The suspect had a strong odor of alcohol and admitted to being the driver. When asked to attempt field sobriety tasks he declined due to medication taken prior to driving. Mr. Ebling was placed under arrest for DWI and also was found to be suspended & revoked. After processing at the Sheriff’s Headquarters, a District Court Commissioner released Ebling on his Personal Recognizance.

INCIDENT:           Driving w/o Driver’s License & Illegal Alien

DATE / TIME:      02/05/2012 @ 1530 Hours

LOCATION:         Rt. 301 @ Outlet Drive, Queenstown

ARREST:               Jose Oballe Perez (27) of Easton

CHARGES:           Driving without Driver’s License and Illegal Alien

 

NARRATIVE:       Dfc. Gardner stopped a red Nissan Sentra with South Carolina tags for a minor traffic offense. The driver identified himself as Jose Perez and did not have a driver’s license but was owner of the vehicle. Mr. Perez gave a DOB of 10/25/1983, then 1987 and again as 1984. He was placed under arrest for driving without a license and transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters. SA John Van Wie from ICE then interviewed Mr. Perez learning he was living in Easton and was in the United States illegally. SA Van Wie issued an ICE Detainer for the subject. A District Court Commissioner also placed a $5000 bond on Mr. Perez who was held at the QA Detention Center
