INCIDENT:          Rogue & Vagabond

DATE / TIME:     04/11/2014 @ 2155 Hours

LOCATION:         201 Wells Cove Road, Grasonville

VICTIM:              Brian W. Robinson of Lothian, MD

ARREST:              Morgan Edward Powell (32) of Stevensville

CHARGE:            Rogue & Vagabond

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to parking lot of the Jetty after three patrons had observed two subjects in their 2009 Honda vehicle. On arrival, the three subjects had detained one of the suspects but advised the other one, a white male wearing a blue shirt and baseball hat had managed to run away. A search of the area failed to locate the subject.

 

The detained suspect was identified as Morgan Edward Powell who had been caught in the driver’s seat of the Honda. Powell advised the other person was named Steve and had no additional information. Powell was charged with Rogue & Vagabond, processed at Sheriff’s Headquarters and held on a $3000 Bond.

LOCATION:         300 Block of William Way, Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:       Complainant (Male – 50’s) advised he had gone to a friend’s residence to retrieve his vehicle and that a female at the location refused to move her vehicle and that he was unable to leave. Responding deputy asked the female to move her vehicle which she did and the male was able to leave. No further assistance was needed.

DATE / TIME:     04/12/2014 @ 0920 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         2500 Block of Bloomingdale Road, Centreville

VICTIM:              Michael W. Elburn of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:       Around 0900 hours the victim’s family reported hearing a motor start up and then found that a 2006 Honda 4 Wheeler ATV and a 2011 Kawasaki 250 Dirt Bike were missing from enclosed trailers. The vehicles had an estimated value of $5500.

 

On 4/13 MSP Tpr. Morrison had observed two African American males operating a red Honda 4 Wheeler and a green dirt bike near New Street in Church Hill. When he attempted to stop the subjects they fled and Tpr. Morrison was later able to locate and recover the Honda ATV. After the Sheriff’s Office learned of this, the victims were contacted and the Honda was identified as their missing ATV. Investigation in this case continues.

INCIDENT:          Missing Person / Warrant Service

DATE / TIME:     04/12/2014 @! 1738 Hours

LOCATION:         100 Block of Lee Road, Chester, MD

ARREST:              Warren Edward Bullock Jr. of Chester

CHARGE:            Bench Warrant

 

NARRATIVE:       A friend of the subject advised he had not seen Warren Bullock for over month after dropping him off in Baltimore to pan handle on the streets and requested to file a Missing Persons Report. Deputy Neall was given several possible location the subject could be and contacted Baltimore City Police for assistance. It was also learned that Bullock had an open Bench Warrant with MSP.

 

On the 14th of April the Sheriff’s Office was contacted and told that Warren Bullock had been picked up in Richmond Virginia and given a ride back to Chester. Deputy Neall made contact with the subject and placed him under arrest. Bullock was then turned over to MSP Centreville.

DATE / TIME:     04/13/2014 @ 0710 Hours

LOCATION:         100 Block of Claiborne Field Drive, Centreville

VICTIM:              Athena E. Bartholomew of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported finding her 2002 Mercedes extensively vandalized with seats damaged, headliner ripped, paint scratched in several places with mirrors and windshield broken. Also head rest television units were stolen. An estimate of damages was several thousand dollars. No additional damage was reported in the area and the MDOP appears to be targeted. Investigation continues

INCIDENT:          Suspicious Activity

DATE / TIME:     04/13/2014 @ 1255 Hours

LOCATION:         100 Maple Avenue, Sudlersville

VICTIM:              St. Andrews Episcopal Church

 

NARRATIVE:       It was reported that a male subject had left several pages of religious and gender referenced material on 15-20 vehicles parked at the church. A church member had removed the material prior to the end of church services. The subject believed to have been placing the material was described as a white male with white hair, about 5’6”  185 Pounds, well dressed in tan pants and a white dress shirt.

LOCATION:         1100 Block of Price Station Road, Church Hill

VICTIM:              Verna’s Kountry Kitchen

 

NARRATIVE:       Employee at the business advised placing the day’s receipts next to the cash register and then finished cleaning several tables. When she checked she found the day’s cash receipts and tips missing. The loss was estimated at $760. The investigation remains open pending review of video at the location.

LOCATION:         201 Bennett Point Road, Queenstown

VICTIM:              Greenwood Creek Landscaping

 

NARRATIVE:       Bruce Langford owner of Greenwood Creek Landscaping reported finding two trailers open with two Toro Zero Turn Radius lawnmowers missing. The mowers were valued at $20,000. Investigation remains open.

DATE / TIME:     04/14/2014 @ 1108 Hours

LOCATION:         1800 Block of Church Hill Road, Centreville

VICTIM:              Quarzna L. Carter & Quanteir D. Braxton

ARREST:              Dontrell LaMonte Braxton (18) of Centreville

CHARGE:            (2) Counts of Assault

 

NARRATIVE:       It was reported that Dontrell Braxton had assaulted his sister and when their mother intervened she was also assaulted and that Dontrell had fled the house. An assisting unit located the suspect along Church Hill Road and detained him while Dfc. Kellogg responded to the residence. The sister had visible injuries and reported being struck in the face, knocked to the ground and p[punched additional times in the head. Ms. Carter reported trying to break the two apart and that Dontrell then pushed her to the ground.  Both declined medical attention.

 

Dontrell Braxton was taken into custody and booked at the Sheriff’s Headquarters. A District Court Commissioner then released him on his personal recognizance.

TRAFFIC ARREST

 

Juvenile (16) from Virginia – Passenger vehicle stopped on RT 50 near Dominion Road with three occupants on 4/12 at 0301 Hours.  The driver advised he did not have a license and the front seat passenger advised he was suspended. The passenger in the rear was found to have a valid license. The 16 year old was later released to his parent who had responded from Virginia. The stop was made by Dfc. Chris Neall.
