INCIDENT:          MDOP

DATE / TIME:     04/16/2014 @ 1810 Hours

LOCATION:         300 Block of Old Love Point Road, Stevensville

VICTIM:              QA Parks & Rec

 

NARRATIVE:       It was reported that an unknown person had thrown a padlock through a small window at the concession stand. Damages were estimated to be under $100.

DATE / TIME:     04/16/2014 @ 1750 Hours

LOCATION:         2500 Block of Bloomingdale Road, Centreville

VICTIM:              MasTec Network Solutions

 

NARRATIVE:       A repairman at the cell phone tower on Bloomingdale road reported finding the gate to the location open with the lock cut, along with several wires cut. The was also an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry into the facility. Damages and missing wire was estimated at under $200.

LOCATION:         300 Block of Del Rhodes Avenue, Queenstown

VICTIM:              Tina Schroyer of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported she was watching television with her children when they saw a man watching them outside a window. The man was described as a white male with short dark hair, medium build wearing dark clothing. Victim advised she knew of a neighbor who had a similar experience several weeks ago but didn’t report it.

LOCATION:         6000 Block of Queenstown

VICTIM:              Sens Sheetmetal Inc.

 

NARRATIVE:       Manager of the business reported finding their trailer had been broken into and Refrigerant lines, a Milwaukee sawzall, DeWalt multi-tool set and miscellaneous tools and brass fitting missing. Items were valued at $2600.

LOCATION:         1500 Block of Postal Road, Chester

VICTIM:              Richard C. Coolbourne of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim advised he noticed his boat trailer to be missing from his business lot. The trailer was last seen on April 15th and is described as a 2002 aluminum Five Star Engineering Model 5 and had an estimated value of $2000.

LOCATION:         200 Block of Nichols Manor Drive, Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:       Four residents in the 200 Block of Nichols Manor Drive reported their mailboxes damaged overnight. Some of the damaged mailboxes and posts were repairable and damages estimated under $200.

LOCATION:         1801 Main Street, Chester

VICTIM:              Kent Island Jewelers

 

NARRATIVE:       The owner of the store reported that earlier a male suspect had been in the store looking at rings. Soon a second male and female came into the store. The three kept staff busy with various questions and movement. After the three left, it was noticed that a jewelry tray with diamond studs was missing.  Studs were valued at $10,000. Investigation remains open.

INCIDENT:          Warrant Service – False Statement to Police Officer – 4th Degree Burglary Tools

DATE / TIME:     04/18/2014 @ 1549 Hours

LOCATION:         1900 Block of Dudley Corners Road, Millington

 

ARREST:              Stephen Paul Carroll (51) of Chester Harbor, Chestertown (QA)

CHARGE:            Warrant – (VOP of DWI), False Statement – 4th Degree Possession of burglary tools

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputy Draper was advised of a possible wanted subject at the Outpost near Crumpton. On arrival he spoke with a man leaving the store who advised his name was Danny. Deputy Draper continued into the store and found no other customers were there at the time. Draper eventually located Stephen Carroll in a porta-potty near the business and placed him under arrest on the warrant. Carroll was carrying a black bag with black sunglasses, black beanie hat, gloves and hooded sweatshirt and a small crowbar.

 

Carroll was held without bail on the Bench Warrant and $10,000 bond on the new charges. He is being detained at the QA Detention Center.
