INCIDENT:          THEFT

DATE / TIME:     04/28/2013 @ 1851 Hours

LOCATION:         425 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown   

VICTIM:              GUCCI

 

NARRATIVE:       Employees reported a African American male had put on a black leather belt valued at $175 and then pulled his un-tucked shirt over it and left without paying for it. The suspect may have been driving a white Lexus with New York tags.

INCIDENT:          Disorderly / Medical Emergency

DATE / TIME:     04/29/2013 @ 1730 Hours

LOCATION:         Grasonville

VICTIM:              Female (41) of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to a group home in Grasonville for a disorderly subject that had thrown a knife at staff members. On arrival, a female could be heard yelling. Once inside the woman was observed lying on the floor yelling and attempting to strike staff members. When the woman continued her actions, she was taken into custody and transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for assistance.

INCIDENT:          Domestic

DATE / TIME:     04/29/2013 @ 2030 Hours

LOCATION:         Bayview Lane, Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to the residence for a report domestic disturbance. On arrival it was learned that the wife, who had been drinking wine and began to yell when the husband’s open can of beer had spilled. When she began to yell, the husband had placed his hand over her mouth to stop her. Neither party felt he intended to harm her and neither wanted charges. Both parties were given domestic brochures and advised of possible legal steps if desired.

INCIDENT:          Domestic Assault

DATE / TIME:     04/29/2013 @ 2222 Hours

LOCATION:         Chesapeake Motel, 107 Hissey Road, Grasonville

VICTIM:              Ginger Lee Ensley (40) of Grasonville

ARREST:              Brian Thoms Fowler (41) of Grasonville

                             Ginger Lee Ensley (40) of Grasonville

CHARGE:            Fowler – Assault

                             Ensley – VOP Warrant

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to Chesapeake Motel Office and met with Ginger Ensley who stated her roommate, Brian Fowler had punched her in the eye after an argument.

 

Contact was made with Brian Fowler in room #25 and stated he had struck Ensley with his fist during an argument. Fowler was placed under arrest for assault. Several suspected CDS items (smoking device) were seized from the room.

 

While interviewing Ensley for a Domestic Violence Report, it was learned that there was an open warrant for her from Caroline County on a Violation of Probation.

 

Both subjects were transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. Ensley was held on a $3000 bond and Fowler placed on a $7500 bond. Both subjects were detained at QA Detention Center.

LOCATION:         300 Block of Perry Lynch Road, Millington

VICTIM:              David Waddell (41) of Millington

                             Daniel Stevenson (53) of Millington

                             Carey Blanchfield (54) of Millington

 

Charges:             David Waddell (41) of Millington- Assault 2nd Degree

                             Daniel Stevenson (53) of Millington – Assault 2nd Degree

                             Carey Blanchfield (54) of Millington – Assault 2nd Degree (2 Counts)

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies were called to the residence when one subject (Blanchfield) called his two brother-in-laws (Waddell & Stevenson) derogatory names. Allegedly a lamp and a cup of coffee was thrown. When the argument appeared to become physical, Stevenson fled the residence out a bathroom window while Waddell fled to his mother’s bedroom and locked the door. At some point the door was broken and a chair was thrown. The argument was witnessed by other family members and also involved calling a child a racial slur.

 

Blanchfield is believed to have gone to an area hospital on his own for unknown injury. Investigation has resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Blanchfield. Warrants were also issued for Waddell and Stevenson after Blanchfield completed applications with the District Court Commissioner.

LOCATION:         300 Block of Saddler Road, Grasonville

VICTIM:              Karl E. Naecker of Grasonville

ARREST:              Pending

CHARGE:            Theft

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim learned that someone was plugging an extension cord to his building and running the cord to an upstairs apartment  on the backside of #317 Saddler Road. The responding deputy was able to identify the tenant of the upstairs apartment as James William Sherry Jr. Attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful. A criminal Summons has been issued charging Sherry will Theft.

LOCATION:         300 Virginia Road, Stevensville

VICTIM:              Ashley Zimmerman of Stevensville

ARREST:              Pending

CHARGE:            Theft

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported that her ex-boyfriend had taken her Nintendo Wi game system and a Bose entertainment system back in July of 2012. At the time she discovered that he had pawned the Nintendo locally and that she had purchased it back and never reported the theft. She was unable to locate the Bose system as she didn’t have the serial number at that time.

 

Recently she located the Bose serial number and returned to the Pawn Shop to check the records and found that the system had been pawned by a friend of her ex-boyfriend. The pawn shop had already sold the unit and she decided to report the theft.

 

As a result criminal summonses have been issued for Lamonz Maurice Bennett (25) of Georgetown DE and Joseph Jay Grimley (28) of Stevensville charging each with one count of theft.  Service is pending.

DATE / TIME:     05/03/2013 @ 0714 Hours

LOCATION:         Main Street, Grasonville

VICTIM:              Male (23) of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:       Subject reported to be depressed threatening to harm himself and not taking medications. Several recent cuts were observed on the subjects wrists. He was taken into custody and transported to Easton Memorial for assistance.

LOCATION:         Timber Lane, Grasonville

VICTIM:              Tammy L. Dumenil of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported her son had left his skateboard in front of a friend’s house on Timber lane.  When he went to return home, the blue orange and black Sector 9 Long Board was missing. The skateboard is valued at $300.  Witnesses reported seeing a white male with curly hair and an tall African American male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a gold emblem in the area at the time of the theft.

INCIDENT:          Domestic

DATE / TIME:     05/04/2013 @ 0657 Hours

LOCATION:         600 Block of Roberts Station Road, Church Hill

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to location for a verbal domestic. Female at location advised that she had argued with her boyfriend over money. Female advised it was only verbal. The boyfriend was also at location and stated he had gotten paid the day before and argued with his girlfriend on the phone about making a deposit. When he arrived home  he found his “Man Cave” trashed with his Television knocked over onto the floor. Neither subject was injured and did not want to pursue charges.
