INCIDENT:           THEFT

DATE / TIME:      05/17/2016 @ 1500 Hours

LOCATION:         215 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown, MD

 

DETAILS:              Deputies were dispatched to the Outlets for a reported theft of merchandise from the Gymboree Children’s Store. An employee reported one of the subjects was observed concealing clothing under his jacket and leaving the store without paying. There were additional reports of the group in the Loft and Old Navy Stores.

 

On arrival it was learned that the subjects, a AA female, a taller AA male with red hair and another AA male were had left in two vehicles a Honda and a Camaro.

 

A short time later the Camaro was located at Royal Farms in Queenstown occupied by the female, the  AA male with red hair and several others. With an odor of marijuana present in the vehicle, the car was searched with a baggie with suspected marijuana and a grinder located and seized. One of the occupants (Danielle Lataisha Nicole Green (25) of Baltimore) claimed ownership of the CDS items and was issued a Civil Citation.

 

The AA male with red hair initially gave a false name, but was later identified as Lamar Anton Martin (26) of Baltimore who was wanted on a Violation of Probation charges in Baltimore. He was also charged with theft. Several bags of clothing were recovered.

 

Investigation continues.

INCIDENT:           Underage Tobacco Compliance Check

DATE / TIME:      05/18/2016

DETAILS:              Deputies working a compliance check with a  juvenile who attempted to purchase tobacco products. The following stores ALL requested identification and refused the sale because the subject was not 18.  Congratulations to all clerks and stores for your diligence.

INCIDENT:           Theft

DATE / TIME:      05/18//2016 @ 1745 Hours

LOCATION:         1925 Main Street, Chester, MD

 

DETAILS:              Victim advised she was shopping at Safeway and  believed she had her wallet when she entered the store. At checkout she realized it was gone. Victim stated she had pulled her cart most of the time with her purse in the child seat. One of her credit cards was used a short time later to purchase gas at a convenience store on Hess Road.

LOCATION:         100 Block of Congressional Drive, Stevensville

 

DETAILS:              Victim report the theft of a grey tackle box valued at $400 from his open garage  sometime between 5/14 and 5/20.

DATE / TIME:      05/22/2016 @ 1934 Hours

LOCATION:         4128 Main Street, Grasonville, MD

 

DETAILS:              Victim reported being in the main hall of the GVFD for a family function. Victim left her purse unattended while in another room and upon returning discovered $100 in currency missing.

 

Members of the fire department were contacted and video footage was reviewed which showed a female (identified as Ashley Zimmerman) bending down at the table and then walking away. A family member of the victim confronted Zimmerman about the money and she returned the cash in a mailbox of a family member.

 

A Criminal Summons has been  issued for Ashley Danielle Zimmerman (27) of Stevensville charging her with theft.

INCIDENT:           Theft from a Vehicles

DATE / TIME:      05/26/2016 @ 0630 Hours

LOCATION:         400 Block of Watson Road, Centreville, MD

 

DETAILS:              Victim reported finding the window of his Nissan pickup broken out and items moved but nothing appeared to be missing. While taking the report additional calls were received from residents on Quail Run Drive.

 

There a Ford Fusion had been broken into on the 200 Block with a brown leather case with a passport, Lowes gift cards, a retirement check and a wallet with driver’s license and credit cards stolen.

 

A Jaguar passenger car was broken into in the 300 block with nothing stolen but items moved.

 

Also in the 300 block a Toyota Tundra had a window shattered but nothing missing.
