INCIDENT:         Found CDS

DATE / TIME:     08/03/2017 approximately 2110 hours

LOCATION:       Shore Stop/Valero, 201 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville MD

COMPLAINANT: Cassidy Smith, Employee

DETAILS:        Deputies were dispatched to the Shore Stop/Valero where an employee, identified as Cassidy Smith, located a piece of clear plastic containing a powder substance.  The suspected CDS was found in the floor in front of the cash registers. Ms. Smith secured the CDS for safekeeping until Deputies could arrive to seize the CDS. The complainant has no suspect info and Deputy Bush was not able to review surveillance video at this time.

INCIDENT: Commercial Burglary

DATE/TIME: Monday 07/31/2017 at 0645 hrs.

LOCATION: Queenstown Xtra Mart 4638 Ocean Gateway Queenstown, MD

VICTIM: Queenstown Xtra Mart 4638 Ocean Gateway Queenstown, MD

DETAILS:  On Monday July 31, 2017 at approximately 0645 hrs., deputies were called to investigate a commercial burglary at the Queenstown Xtra Mart, 4638 Ocean Gateway in Queenstown, MD. Investigation revealed that sometime between 0300 hrs., and 0400 hrs. on 07/31/2017, unknown person(s) broke the front glass door and entered the store. The suspects took approximately $4,200 worth of merchandise, as well as a computer. Damages to the door and glass were estimated to be over $1,000. The suspects fled the area and have not been identified. Investigation is continuing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit, Cpl.
