INCIDENT:           Traffic Arrest

DATE / TIME:      07/29/2012 @ 0054 Hours

LOCATION:         Main Street, Sudlersville

 

ARREST:               Andrea Cherellye Lateash Wayman (19) of Smyrna, DE

CHARGE:              Driving without a License

 

NARRATIVE:        A 1991 Chevrolet Caprice was stopped for speeding on Main Street and was stopped near Church Circle. Driver was unable to provide any identification and MVA checks with the name given failed to indicate a license in MD or DE. However it did show an open Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear in Worchester County. Subject was taken into custody and charged with Driving without a License. She was also served a copy of the Bench Warrant and later released.

INCIDENT:           Theft from a Vehicle

LOCATION:         200 Block of Grove Cove Road, Centreville

VICTIM:               David A. Dammeyer of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that sometime between Friday night (27th) and Sunday morning (29th) someone entered his two vehicles taking a small amount of change and a pair of sunglasses. Loss was estimated at $20 with no damage to vehicles.

LOCATION:         Main Street and Dominion Road, Chester

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies were called to location for a male and female arguing in the parking lot of a business. On arrival both parties advised that no physical contact between the two. Subjects were separated and asked to leave the location.

LOCATION:         Fisher Manor Apartments, Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies dispatched to the complex after a resident reported that the father of her child was outside her window demanding she bring the child outside. Victim also reported being struck in the head before the suspect fled the area. The suspect also had a Peace Order against him at the time of the incident and charges are pending.

LOCATION:         RT 18 and Chester River Beach Road, Grasonville

 

ARREST:               Male (16) of Stevensville

CHARGE:              Driving without a License

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputy Hartmetz stopped a silver Chrysler for a minor offense. When the vehicle stopped the male driver was observed attempting to switch places with the female passenger. The male was found to be 16 years of age with no record of a driver’s license. He was taken into custody and later released to a family member. He has been referred to Juvenile Services for Driving without a license.

LOCATION:         300 Block of Wicomico Road, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Sarah Hoffmann of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported missing several pieces of jewelry from her bedroom including a diamond ring, an emerald and diamond ring, an emerald ring  and an emerald pendant. Items were valued at $1700. Inve4stigation remains open.

DATE / TIME:      08/01/2012 @ 0905 Hours

LOCATION:         32201 Queen Anne Highway, Queen Anne

VICTIM:               Tuckahoe Chiropractic

 

NARRATIVE:        Dr. Collin Johnson reported the burglary upon arriving at the business. A small amount of cash was taken from the petty cash box. An alarm call was reported during the night but when checked the building was found to be secure. Investigation remains open.

LOCATION:         600 block of Kimberly Way, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Sael Gonzalez of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported finding his truck with a smashed windshield and passenger window, a flat tire and scratches on the tailgate while parked in his driveway. Damages were estimated at $1000.

DATE / TIME:      08/01/2012 @ 1324 Hours

LOCATION:         Lee Road, Chester

VICTIM:               Tyler Berkheimer of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that the evening before he had parked his Volkswagen sedan on Lee Road visiting at a friend’s residence. Upon returning to his car shortly after midnight he discovered $700 cash missing from the car. Victim stated the car was locked the entire time and was not damaged.

LOCATION:         Aker Road, Queenstown

VICTIM:               Female (17) of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reportedly was angry and throwing items. Investigation indicated she had not been taking her medicine as prescribed  and wanted to go to the hospital. She was transported by Patrol Car to Anne Arundel Medical Center for assistance.
