Victim:                        Melvin Thomas Grady
Narrative:                  Dfc. Gore was dispatched to 328 Bentons Pleasure Road in reference to reports of items that have been broken over a course of a week. The victim states that some unknown suspect had broken his mailbox, a solar powered driveway light, and damage to a hose reel. The estimated replacement cost is approximately $195.00. Anyone with information is asked to contact The Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County.

Incident:                     Motor Vehicle Accident – Hit and Run

Location:                    South Bound Calvert Road @ Queen Annes Drive
Narrative:                  Dfc. Kellogg is currently investigating a hit and run motor vehicle collision that occurred on Calvert Road at Queen Anne’s Drive, Chester. The vehicle was observed driving off the roadway and striking a mailbox. The driver fled the scene. Dfc. Kellogg obtained suspect information and this case remains open for charges on the driver.

Victim:                        Verizon Maryland Inc.
Narrative:                  Dfc. Schwink was dispatched for a report of theft. Dfc. Schwink responded to the Verizon facility in Queenstown, Md . Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) had cut into the chain link fence and had stolen items. Some items included copper wire. The estimated loss value is approximately $2,750.00. This incident took place sometime between 08/29/11 @ 11:00 pm and 08/30/11 @ 6:00 am. Anyone with information to this case is asked to contact The Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County.

Victim:                        Richard Claude Boulay Sr.
Narrative:                  Dfc. Gore responded to 108 Hess Road at the Chesapeake Whalertown Boat Yard for a report of a theft. Investigations concluded that some unknown suspect had stolen an aluminum rim and tire that was lying next to a 1980 Chevy Corvette. The rim fits this vehicle and is described has having a red pinstripe. The total amount loss is $470.00. Anyone with information is asked to contact The Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County.

Narrative:                  Dfc. Jordan responded to 1724 Harbor Drive, Chester in reference to a Theft of a Mongoose bicycle. The bike was stolen from the parking lot of the Club One on 08/23/11. Narrative:                  Dfc. Schwink was working a plain cloths assignment in the Grasonville area. During this time he observed a male subject walk into the parking lot of the Jetty and urinate in plain view. The male subject was identified and will be charged at a later date with indecent exposure.

Location:                    Back Starr Road near Starr Road Centreville, MD
Victim:                        M-17 Cordova, MD
Narrative:                  DFC Boyles investigated a single vehicle collision on Back Starr Road in Centreville, MD. Investigation revealed that on 08/27/2011 at approximately 1012 hrs, a 1997 Chevrolet truck operated by a 17 year old male from Cordova MD swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, and subsequently struck a tree. The driver was not injured in the collision, and no charges were issued. .

Narrative:                  Sgt Jones recovered a men’s bicycle on the property of Kent Island High School. The bicycle appeared to have been lying on the school grounds for several days.  The property owner should contact the Sheriff’s Office with an accurate description to obtain the property.

Location:                    Big Woods Road near Merrick Corner Road Ingleside, MD
Arrest:                        Sean Paul McGill M-Ridgely, MD
Charges:                     1, driving under the influence of alcohol
2. Driving while impaired by alcohol
3. Traffic charges related to the vehicle collision

Narrative:                  DFC Parkinson investigated a single vehicle collision on Big Woods Road near Merrick Corner Road in Ingleside, MD. Investigation revealed that on 08/27/2011 at approximately 1600 hrs a 1996 Toyota passenger car operated by Sean McGill left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The driver (McGill) was injured and was taken by ambulance to the Chester River Medical Center for treatment. Further investigation revealed that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The driver was charged and released on his signature pending trial.
