INCIDENT:           Assault / Arson Threat

DATE / TIME:      08/31/2012 @ 1145 Hours

LOCATION:         900 Old Love Point Road, Stevensville

VICTIM:              Male Student (16) of Stevensville

ARREST:             Evan John Papa (18) of Grasonville

CHARGE:            Assault 2nd Degree / Arson Threat / Disruption of School Activity / Disorderly Conduct

 

NARRATIVE:        School Officials alerted School Resource Deputy Jeremy Davidson of an assault that had occurred in a classroom. Victim advised another student had called him a name and that the two had had disagreements via Facebook earlier. When Papa got out of his seat, the victim stated he did also to protect himself. The victim stated after being struck in the head by Papa, he fought back until seperated. The victim stated that Papa threatened to kill him and shoot him or have someone else do it. When interviewed by Dfc. Davidson, Papa admitted to starting the fight and making the comments, but had no intention or means to carry it out.

 

When the victim’s parent was contacted, it was told to Dfc. Davidson that Papa had made threats to burn down the family home on Facebook. The victim’s family were explained the process of seeking a Peace Order if desired.

 

Dfc. Davidson applied for charges to a District Court Commissioner who issued a Criminal Summons for Evan Papa with the above charges.

INCIDENT:           Counterfeit Currency

LOCATION:         1630 Main Street, Chester

VICTIM:               Annapolis Dermatology

 

NARRATIVE:        Employees at the Annapolis Dermatology reported in their bank deposit today, there was a $20 counterfeit bill. The billing manager was able to identify the patients that paid in cash simnnce the last deposit and those persons are being intervied. Corporate Security at the bank was also notified who is alerting the Secret Service.  Investigation remains open.

LOCATION:         Hemsley Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:               Frank Dudley of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported the theft of a solid gold ring that had been in his family for several generations. The victim stated was last seen on his dresser about a month ago and only discovered missing on today’s date. The victim reported only persons in that area of the house were employees of a plumbing company working there in early August. The ring can be identified  by an indented family crest insignia and valued at $2000. The victim still had in his possession a stamping tool used to make the ring with a reverse of the family crest. LOCATION:         Quinn Road, Grasonville

VICTIM:               See Narrative

 

CHARGES:            Pending Service

 

NARRATIVE:        Crystal Coleman of Chestertown contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report being assaulted while at Quinn Road. Ms. Coleman stated she had been asked by Kevin Gray to come to the location to talk. According to Ms. Coleman, on her arrival she and a female at the location, Kara Drabczyk of Grasonville exchanged words and that Drabczyk had punched her in the face with her fist.

 

When intervied, Ms. Drabczyk stated that Ms. Coleman arrived at the scene she began to kick the front and side doors. When Ms. Drabczyk stepped outside, Ms. Coleman alledgedly spit at her, punched her and kicked her. Neither woman had visable injuries and were directed to the District Court Commissioner if charges or Peace Orders were desired. The landlord was contacted and advised that both doors were new and they now had several dents.

 

The following day, Deputy Armington learned that charges had been filed by Ms. Coleman against Kara Drabczyk for Assault. The Criminal Summons has not been served as of 1700 Hours on 9/5.

LOCATION:         200 Block Burrisville Road, Centreville

VICTIM:              James Ford Sr. of Centreville

ARREST:             Shawn Patrick Pendergast-Ford (24) of Centreville

                           Hunter Thomas Grahamer (22) of Centreville

CHARGE:           Theft

 

NARRATIVE:    A relative of the victim reported seeing Shawn Pendergast-Ford and Hunter Grahamer transferring diesel fuel from a bed tank in the victim’s truck to a Ford pickup owned by one of the suspects. The diesel fuel and fuel cans that were taken had an estimated value of $257.

 

Criminal Summonses were issued for the two for theft. Pendergast-Ford was served on 9/1 while the summons for Grahamer is pending service.

DATE / TIME:  08/31/2012 @ 2343 Hours

LOCATION:      600 block of Kimberly Way, Stevensville

VICTIM:           Male (25) of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:    Deputies were called to location for an assault in progress. On arrival two males had the victim pinned to the ground in the front yard. It was reported the victim had been out to a bar and upon returning started to fight with family members and making threats to kill them. The victim continued to yell and make threats as medics who had responded. The victim was transported by ambulance to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

NARRATIVE:    Deputy was dispatched to location for a report of a male upset and making threats to harm himself. Subject was transported by patrol car to Anne Arundel Medical Center for assistance.

NARRATIVE:    Victim reported finding the passenger side window of his truck smashed and the interior ransacked. Items reported missing include $100 cash, a black I-Pod Touch, a gray Garmin 260CX GPS and a key to his Jet Ski.

NARRATIVE:    Larry Milanovich reported that his truck and trailer had been spray painted on both sides with appeared to be a penis. A check of the neighborhood located a mailbox owned by Kyleigh Howard on Kimberly Way that also had a spray painted penis. The stop sign at Kimberly Way and Ackerman had been pulled from the ground and had a spray painted obscenity on it. On September 3rd Meaghann Small on Chessie Court reported finding the hood on her 2008 Mazda had been spray painted in the shape of a penis. On September 4th, Kelly Corchiarino of Monroe Manor reported that  during the night someone knocked on her door but when she answered the door no one was there. In the morning she found an obscene spray painted drawing on her sidewalk. Robert Wehland reported his 2002 Ford truck had been spray painted with black paint down the driver’s side while parked on Petinot Place. In most cases damages were minimal.

VICTIM:           Perry Watson of Stevensville

                        James Hubbard of Stevensville

                        Dept. of Natural Resources

                        Robert D. Crews of Stevensville

                        Fred Mattes of Stevensville

                        Eric Patchett of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:    Mr. Watson reported finding his Ford F-350 pickup with both passenger side tires slashed. Damages was estimated at $1000. A check of the neighborhood resulted in locating a Mazda passenger car owned by James Hubbard with two passenger side tires slashed. On Johnny Lane another vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer was located with a slashed passenger side tire. The vehicle was a DNR vehicle. Robert D. Crews on Johnny Lane reported two passenger side tires on his Jeep Cherokee had been slashed. These tires were valued at $820. On Johnny Lane, Fred Mattes on his 1983 Real Life Camper had been slashed. On September 4th Eric Patchett on Petinot Place reported the passenger side tires on his Honda 4-door had been flattened.
