INCIDENT:     Death Investigation

DATE:             12/19/2012 @ 1100 Hours

LOCATION:   103 Tuxedo Road, Chestertown

VICTIM:         Larry Steward Gears of Chestertown

ARREST:        Raymond Gene Cullison Jr. (46) of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE: Raymond G. Cullison of has been charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Murder in the November 21st death of Larry Steward Gears of Chestertown. Gears was found by his wife deceased in the front yard of their residence at about 9 AM as she returned from work. The victim and Mr. Cullison reportedly had been involved in an on-going neighborhood conflict.

Cullison was taken into custody at his residence this morning about 11 AM by detectives without incident. After processing he will receive an Initial Appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT:       DEATH INVESTIGATION

DATE / TIME:  11/21/2012 @ 0907 Hours

LOCATION:      202 Concord Drive, Chester Harbor, Chestertown, MD

VICTIM:           Larry Gears (41) of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:    Medical personnel responded to the residence after the victim’s spouse located him on the ground in front of the house unresponsive. Medics determined the victim was deceased and requested the Sheriff’s Office respond for an unattended death investigation. Investigators spent most of the day at the scene assisted by the Maryland State Police Crime Scene Unit. At this time no cause of death has been determined and the investigation is being considered as questionable. The body has been taken to the Office of Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. There are no additional details being released at this time.
