INCIDENT:           Theft

DATE / TIME:      12/14/2012 @ 1320 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         938 Kent Narrows Way, Chester, MD

VICTIM:               Norman Wood of Alexandria VA

 

NARRATIVE:        Mear’s Point Yacht Sales reported that sometime during the past three weeks two outdrives were taken from a boat in dry dock. The outdrives were Mercury XRs and valued at $12,000 each.

INCIDENT:           Assault

DATE / TIME:      12/16/2012 @ 0110 Hours

LOCATION:         400 Block of Perry’s Corner Road Grasonville

VICTIM:               Jeffrey Griffin of Grasonville

ARREST:               Tywanda Sirena Brooks (43) of Grasonville

CHARGE:              2nd Degree Assault

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported being at a party earlier and as he and his fiancée’ Ms. Brooks left, an argument occurred. It became heated and Ms. Brooks allegedly struck him several times on his face causing his eye to swell and a small abrasion. Ms. Brooks stated she had lost her temper after being left in the vehicle for a couple of hours while Mr. Griffin remained at the party. Ms. Brooks was placed under arrest and taken to the Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. She was later released on her own recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

DATE / TIME:      12/16/2012 @ 1730 Hours

LOCATION:         RT 302 & Howard Wilson Road near Barclay

 

ARREST:               Modesto Peres Rodriges (41) of Dover

CHARGE:              Driving without a License

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputy Hartmetz stopped a 2003 Chevrolet truck for a headlight and taillight nor working. Driver identified himself as Modesto Rodriges and stated he did not have a license. He was taken in custody and transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. A District Court Commissioner later released Rodriges on his own recognizance.

DATE / TIME:      12/16/2012 @ 1900 Hours

LOCATION:         Centreville area

VICTIM:               Female (26) of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:        Family member of the victim contacted the Sheriff’s Office after receiving several text messages telling her she was driving around, couldn’t take it anymore and goodbye. The family member convinced the victim to come to her residence. When she arrived, Dfc. Ambrose took her into custody after talking with her and transported her to Chester River Medical Center for assistance.

VICTIM:               Zaira Nathaly Bonilla of Grasonville

CHARGE:              MDOP

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported her live-in boyfriend became angry after she took longer than normal purchasing groceries. During the argument, the suspect allegedly took her HTC Cell phone and threw it at a wall and then bent it in half. The phone was valued at $400. As deputies arrived, the suspect had fled the residence and charges are pending.
