INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: 900 Love Point Road, Stevensville, MD

VICTIM: Male (15) of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that he left his gym bag in the locker room during an after school sports practice on 2/6. Upon returning to the locker room he discovered his white& red Doctor Dre Headphones, a black iPod touch, a pair of black & white Nike high top sneakers (Size 9.5), and a white Aeropostale t-shirt. Items had an estimated value of $620.

LOCATION: Crouse Mill Road, Near Ruthsburg

NARRATIVE: Victim reported unknown person(s) had gone into his field and did numerous “Donuts” in the wheat field. Damages to the crop was estimated at $1000.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS (Marijuana)

DATE / TIME: 02/08/2012 @ 1115 Hours

LOCATION: Love Point Park, Stevensville

ARREST: Lauren Christine Morris (23) of Stevensville

Kaitlyn Renee Morris (19) of Stevensville

CHARGES: Possession of CDS (Marijuana) and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia

 

NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the Love Point Park after receiving a complaint about two females smoking marijuana in a silver SUV. As Dfc. Jordan approached the park, a silver SUV with two females was exiting the parking lot. The vehicle was stopped on Love Point Road. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a grinder with suspected marijuana, a burned portion of a “Blunt” cigar with suspected marijuana and a smoking device with suspected marijuana. Both females were released at the scene with charges pending. Dfc. Jordan applied for charges and Criminal Summonses were issued. Lauren Morris was served on 2/11 at her residence while Kaitlyn was served on the 12th at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters.

NARRATIVE: Victim advised that during the night, unknown person had kicked his mailbox causing a bracket holding the box to a post was broken. Damage was estimated at $50.

INCIDENT: Domestic Assault

DATE / TIME: 02/09/2012 @ 1419 Hours

LOCATION: 800 Block of Murphy Road, Centreville

VICTIM: See Narrative

ARREST: Jake Windsor Riley (20) of Marydel

Brittany Lee Gavigan (18) of Centreville

CHARGES: Riley – Assault

Gavigan – Assault & MDOP

 

NARRATIVE: Units were dispatched to Murphy Road for a Domestic Assault in progress. On arrival, both subjects were still at that location. Jake Riley reported that he was moving out and breaking up with Ms. Gavigan and that she began to hit and scratch him. She also allegedly damaged his vehicle with a rock. Ms. Gavigan admitted to assaulting Mr. Riley and that he had then assaulted her. Both individual had minor injuries. A witness at the scene confirmed their accounts of the incident. As a result both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported someone had damaged a boat cushion and a prong on her boat lift sometime since October. Damage was estimated at $150.

LOCATION: 13000 Block of Main Street, Queen Anne

VICTIM: Edward Funk of Queen Anne

 

NARRATIVE: It was reported that an unknown person had entered the residence and had taken a Benelli 20 Gauge over/Under Shotgun and soft case from the home. At the time of the theft the gun was lying on the Dining Room table and may have been seen through a window. The shotgun is valued at $2,020.

LOCATION: 200 Kent Landing, Stevensville

VICTIM: K-Mart

ARREST: Katherine Adele Mansfield (27) of Easton

Amber Lynn Buckley (22) of Easton

CHARGES: (Mansfield) Theft & Possession of CDS (Not Marijuana)

(Buckley) Theft

 

NARRATIVE: Store Security reported a theft in progress by two female, who had been observed removing tags from jewelry and shoes. Some of the items had been concealed in purses while Ms. Buckley began to wear a pair of earrings once the tag was removed. Deputy Bassaro stopped the two as they were about to exit the store. Both subjects were advised they were under arrest. A search resulted in the recovery of $105 worth of jewelry and shoes. Ms. Mansfield was also found to be in possession of three suspected Xanex pills. Both subjects and a small child were transported to the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for charges and processing. The small child was picked up by a family member. Both subject were later released on the personal recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

LOCATION: 400 Block of Legion Road, Millington

VICTIM: Arthur L. Wessell of Millington

 

NARRATIVE: Victim reported returning home and found two televisions (32” & 42”), an old shotgun, an 8GB Touch IPod, a jug of coins and a Mac laptop computer were missing from the residence. The items stolen were estimated to have a value of $3,034.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported unknown person(s) had taken a cream colored gas stove and an upright white Kenmore freezer off of her side porch. The items were valued at $955. Witnesses stated that a red pickup driven by an older African-American male was seen at the residence earlier in the day. INCIDENT: Drug Overdose

DATE / TIME: 02/06/12 @ 1659 Hours

LOCATION: 200 Block of Columbia Lane, Stevensville

VICTIM: Male (20) of Stevensville

 

CHARGES: Pending

 

NARRATIVE: Male subject was found by a family member in his parked truck grabbing his chest, then fell to the ground and the lost consciousness. Subject was transported by ambulance to Anne Arundel medical center. Suspected drug paraphernalia was seized from the truck and victim. Charges are pending.

INCIDENT: Drug Overdose

DATE / TIME: 02/07/2012 @ 1203 Hours

LOCATION: 200 Block of Fairview Drive, Chestertown

VICTIM: Female (57) of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE: Victim was found by family members in a drugged state and was transported to Chester River Hospital Center by ambulance. She was found to be in possession of a pill bottle with several different pills. The ingestion of an overdose was intentional. Charges are pending.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS

DATE / TIME: 02/07/2012 @ 1454 Hours

LOCATION: 900 Old Love Point Road, Stevensville

 

ARREST: Male (16) of Grasonville

CHARGES: Possession of CDS (Marijuana), Possession of CDS (Not Marijuana); Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana, Possession with intent to distribute Syn. Narcotic, Deadly Weapon on School Property (Knife), Resisting Arrest, Possession of Tobacco on school Property and Possession with intent to distribute CDS on School Property

 

NARRATIVE: School Official saw the male drop some plastic baggies with suspected marijuana on the floor and detained the juvenile. School Resource Deputy Jeremy Davidson arrived and took possession of the three baggies. The juvenile denied having the baggies and was uncooperative refusing to put down his cell phone and attempting to leave. When Davidson attempted to handcuff the juvenile he began to resist further until he was subdued. In addition to the suspected marijuana, the juvenile was found to be in possession of cash in various denominations ($1’s, $5’s, $10’s, and $20’s), four pink pills suspected to be Xanax, cigarettes and a small folding pocket knife. The juvenile denied possession of the items. He was later referred to Juvenile Services and released to a family member.

NARRATIVE: The General Manager of the Best Western, Melissa Sussman reported that a Television had been stolen from one of the guest rooms. The television was a 42” Phillips flat screen valued at $700. The last person to rent the room had checked out around three that afternoon. Investigation continues.

NARRATIVE: Store personnel reported that 15 minutes ago an African American male wearing a black hat, jacket, and pants had taken merchandise from the store and fled in a silver BMW. Missing was a green laptop bag, a black Hysteria Python bag and a black & gray tote bag. The items had a retail value of $2,707.
