VICTIM:         Queenstown Bank

 

NARRATIVE:   Queenstown Bank representative, James Reynolds reported that a house repossessed by the bank had been broken into with a wood stove, heat pump and much of the interior wiring being stolen. The stolen items were valued at nearly $10K with an additional estimated $10K in damages.

DATE / TIME:  03/01/2012 @ 2328 Hours

LOCATION:     900 Block of Love Point Road, Stevensville

ARREST:        Male (23) of Stevensville

CHARGE:        Pending

 

NARRATIVE:   Dfc. Ambrose saw the suspect walking on Love Point Road and it appeared he was flagging down the deputy. While talking to the suspect, Ambrose could see a baggie with suspected marijuana in his pocket. The suspect also admitted to possessing a aluminum foil smoking device. The items were seized and sent to the lab for testing. Charges are pending the results.

LOCATION:     312 Safety Drive, Centreville (QA Co. Public Works)

VICTIM:         Todd Mohn of Centreville

 

NARRATIVE:   Victim reported that on 2/27 he realized that his black IBM laptop computer and a blackberry phone were missing from his carry bag. Victim also reported the last time the items were used may have been on the 24th, however the phone has been used since that date. Items were valued at $2600. Victim also reported that over 50 persons (Employees and citizens) could have had access to his office area during that time.

INCIDENT:      Theft Scheme

DATE / TIME:  03/02/2012 @ 1415 Hours

LOCATION:     400 Bllock of Horseshoe Road. Queen Anne

VICTIM:          Pamela L. Morgan of Queen Anne

ARREST:         Pending

 

NARRATIVE:    Victim reported finding six rings missing from her home and suspected a family member. Deputies ran the suspect’s name in the Maryland Pawn database and learned that the suspect had recently pawned numerous items including six rings at a jewelry store in Easton. Victim and Dfc. Schwink responded to location and the victim not only identified her six rings but also a bracelet she was unaware that she was missing. While looking over the items, the victim also recognized several pieces of jewelry as her father’s and her daughters. In total, $11,200 of jewelry was recovered. With multiple victims, MSP (Easton) and Caroline County Sheriff joined the investigation.

 

As a result, in Queen Anne a warrant for Holly Nicole Geib of Cordova was issued charging her with Theft. At this time the warrant has not been served and Geib was added to the Sheriff’s Most Wanted listing.

DATE / TIME:   03/05//2012 @ 1818 Hours

LOCATION:      441 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:           Nike Outlet Store

 

NARRATIVE:     Deputies were dispatched to the Outlets after Mall security observed a group of males acting suspiciously at the Nike Store. On arrival, deputies contacted two of the subjects while they were in a green Cougar. The two advised they were getting job applications and denied being with the other two subjects security had reported. A short time later deputies attempted to contact the other two when spotted in an alley near J.Crew. However the two turned and ran away. Deputies followed but were unable to locate them, but did locate a new pair of Nike shoes. Upon returning to the Nike store, the theft was confirmed by finding an empty box of the same style and size. Further investigation has developed a suspect.

VICTIM:           Frank R. Williar of Chester

 

NARRATIVE:     Deputies were dispatched to location to assist with an injured 67 year old male. Victim had been drinkly most of the day and had woken up with a bleeding head wound. Victim was unable to advise how the injury had occurred. Victim was flown to Shock Trauma by Trooper 6.

DATE / TIME:  03/06/2012 @ 0127

LOCATION:     Chester River Beach Road near VFW Avenue, Grasonville

ARREST:        Male (22) from Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE:   A white Acura passenger car was stopped by Sgt. Meil for a minor traffic offense. During the stop a K9 Unit arrived and “scanned” the vehicle with a positive alert. A search of the car resulted in the seizure of a burnt handrolled cigarette and suspected marijuana. Items were seized and sent to the lab for testing. The driver of the car claimed ownershipship of the seized items and was released pending charges.

NARRATIVE:    Victim reported  a theft of several sports collectible football helmets including one autographed by Johnny Unitas. There was no sign of a break-in at the residence. Investigation remains open.
