INCIDENT:          Assault

DATE / TIME:     05/17/2013 @ 1224 Hours

LOCATION:         2600 Block of Cox Neck Road, Chester

VICTIM:              Ashley Felton of Chester

ARREST:              Tylanvis Teran Nicholson (26) of Chester

CHARGE:            Assault 2nd Degree

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to residence on Cox Neck Road for a reported domestic. First unit on the scene was advised that by the victim that Tylanvis Nicholson had come to the residence and an argument between 6the two had occurred. At some point Nicholson allegedly had grabbed Felton by the arm, dragged her outside and then threw her to the ground. Felton had visible minor abrasions on her right arm and back. Residents at the location advised Nicholson had fled prior to arrival in a gray Honda. A second unit responding saw and stopped the car on Cox Road near Postal Road and took Nicholson into custody.

 

Nicholson was taken to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing and a District Court Commissioner held him on a $10,000 bond which was later posted by a bail bondsman.

LOCATION:         41 Matthew Drive, Crumpton

VICTIM:              Daniel P. Welch of Crumpton

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported that he had discovered unknown person(s) had broken into his shed behind his residence and had taken an estimated $650 of property. Items missing included DeWalt cordless tool set with drill, circular saw and work light attachments, a Stihl chainsaw and a 50CC Quad ATV. Damages to the shed were estimated at $50.

LOCATION:         Cooper Court, Centreville

VICTIM:              Davidson Development Inc.

 

NARRATIVE:       Mr. Davidson reported he is building two houses at the location and on Thursday the 16th an employee was at the houses doing work inside until 1100 hours. When arriving the next day, they found that all exterior wiring cut and removed along with copper tubing and ground wires from the HVAC units. The wires and tubing were only valued at about $50 however the damage to repair was estimated at $2000.

LOCATION:         42 Matthew Drive, Crumpton

VICTIM:              Elaine Morel of Crumpton

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported arriving home to find her rear door unlocked and partially open. She then checked her residence finding a Remington 870 Express Shotgun and two lock boxes with documents missing. Items taken were valued at $260.

LOCATION:         500 Conquest Beach Road, Centreville

VICTIM:              QA County Parks

 

NARRATIVE:       Several fence posts and fence rails were removed at the park, later located in a field. A passing motorist advised he had seen several 4-wheel trucks in the parking lot around 0100 hours that morning. Damages were estimated at $300.

INCIDENT:          Trespass on Cultivated Field / MDOP

DATE / TIME:     05/18/2013 @ 1646 Hours

LOCATION:         140 Graham Farm Lane, Chestertown (QA County)

VICTIM:              Margaret J. Graham of Chestertown

ARREST:              Pending

CHARGE:

NARRATIVE:       Sgt. Carr patrolling in the area, observed a 2004 gold colored Ford Expedition with Delaware tags spinning around in a field (Donuts). When Sgt. Carr drove onto the farm lane, the Expedition left the field driving away from Sgt. Carr at a high rate of speed. The Expedition was stopped near the barn area of the farm. The driver was identified a 31 year old female from Chester Harbor in Chestertown QA County and a passenger, a 27 year old male from the same area. After identifying the subjects they were released at the scene.

 

Investigation included checking land records to identify the owner of the field found to be Ms. Graham. Her son advised the field was posted no trespassing and had just been planted with corn and after seeing the area estimated the damage to be about $100.

 

Charges are pending.

LOCATION:         431 A Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:              Sunglass Hut

 

NARRATIVE:       Store Employee advised two African Americans (Male & Female) had taken a pair of Versace Sunglasses valued at $190 and left the store without paying. Security video shows the two suspects, a heavy set female and a taller thinner male. Attempts to locate the suspect in the Outlets was unsuccessful.

INCIDENT:          DWI

DATE / TIME:     05/18/2013 @ 2136 Hours

LOCATION:         100 Block of Little Neck Road, Stevensville

 

ARREST:              Geoffrey Mitchell Price (61) of Stevensville

CHARGE:            DWI

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputy Burns was dispatched to location for a possible single vehicle accident. On arrival, a green Chevrolet pickup was located sitting in the driveway of a residence on Little Neck Road. The driver, identified as Geoffrey Price appeared to have bloodshot and glassy eyes and slurred speech. The odor of alcoholic beverage was also present. The driver was asked to step from the truck and appeared to have additional indicators of possible DWI. When he exited the truck, a shotgun was seen on the front seat and found to be loaded with two shells.

 

Mr. Price was placed under arrest for DWI and a search of his person resulted in the seizure of a small glass tube pipe. Price was charged with DWI and later released to a sober family member. Additional charges are pending.

LOCATION:         900 Block of Cloverfields Drive, Stevensville

VICTIM:              Harriett Morrison of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported finding her mailbox missing from the post as she left for church. She recalled hearing a loud noise the night before around 2300 hours. The mailbox was located damaged and was valued at $125.
