Narrative: Deputy Sewell investigated a theft of building materials from a job site at the Bay Bridge Marina in Stevensville, MD. The Dissen-Juhn Corporation is building new floating piers for the marina, and had stockpiled building materials on the marina property. Sometime between 1630 hrs on 02/17/2010 and 0730 hrs on 02/18/2010, unknown suspects took boxes of stainless steel building components and fasteners valued at over $4800.
On 02/18/2010 at approximately 1500 hrs, those stolen items were found along the roadside by a local resident on Carville Price Lane in Price, MD. The boxes had been opened and nothing appeared to be missing. Investigation is ongoing.

Narrative: Deputy Sewell investigated an assault that occurred at a residence in Stevensville, MD which revealed that a juvenile suspect entered the victim's home, refused to leave and assaulted her by allegedly punching her in the chest. The victim sustained minor injury and refused medical treatment. Investigation continues.

Narrative: Deputy Parkinson investigated a theft of a firearm from a motor vehicle in Church Hill, MD. Victim reported that sometime between 10/01/2008 and 02/23/2010, while the vehicle was at a repair shop unknown suspects removed a 12 gauge shotgun from the victim's vehicle. The vehicle had been at the repair facility in Church Hill, MD during that 17 month time period. The shotgun (Winchester Model 1300) is valued at approximately $400.

A call from that residence to a crisis hotline indicated that she intended to harm herself. The female was located and safely taken into custody, and was transported to the Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

The tag is valued at approximately $40.

Narrative: DFC Pinkosz investigated a property damage motor vehicle accident in Chester, MD. that revealed that a 2005 Ford passenger car had left the roadway on Cecil Drive, striking a mailbox. The vehicle then continued onto Roberta Drive and collided with a telephone pole at the intersection of Cox Neck Road. The driver was not injured and a medical issue appears to have been the cause of the collision. No citations were issued.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 1300 hrs on 02/26/2010 and 1109 hrs on 02/27/2010, unknown suspect(s) stole approximately $3000 worth of home siding that had been stored at the construction site. The siding is described as green 8 ΒΌ" Hariplank Mountain Sage brand.

Narrative: Deputy Eric Goodman responded to the 1100 Block of Peters Corner Road for a report of a motor vehicle collision report. On arrival, contact was made with medical personnel who advised there were no injuries. Contact was made with a male subject who was sitting in the driver's side seat of the black Mitsubishi Gallant. Investigation indicated that subject was the driver and had run off the road due to the snow. Further conversation revealed the driver did not possess a driver license and the subject was arrested. He was held at the detention center on a bond.

Narrative: Sheriff's Deputy Michael Jordan stopped a 2007 Ford Truck in the area of Route 8 at Chesapeake Drive, Stevensville for a safety equipment repair order. The juvenile driver was advised of the repair order violation (tag light out). While on location a K-9 officer responded to the location and a scan of the truck was conducted which revealed a positive alert and a search was conducted. The search revealed trace amounts of suspected marijuana and open bottle of Southern Comfort. All four occupants were charged with possession of an alcoholic beverage. All subjects were issued Civil Citations with Coursey and Foxwell being released at the scene. The two juveniles were released to their parents.

Narrative: Sheriff's deputies responded to the area of Grove Creek Road for trespassing complaints of motor vehicles. Upon arrival deputies observed a Volkswagen Jetta stopped in the center of the roadway with its motor running and headlights on. Contact with the driver of vehicle was made at which time an odor of an alcohol beverage was detected. The driver, Kayce Denny attempted to perform several field sobriety tests of which she did not successfully complete. Denny was arrested and later released to a sober third party.

Narrative: The victim advised that she had stopped in the X-TRA Mart store to use their restroom facility. While inside the restroom, the victim hung her purse up on the stall door. The victim then left the store and returned back approximately a half hour later because she realized she had left her purse. Upon returning back to the store, her purse was gone. According to the victim her purse was a small black cloth bag that had assorted items including; cash, cell phone, keys, driver license, pair of gold earrings, and one gold bracelet. The total loss was valued at $170.00
