Narrative:

The Sheriff's Office was dispatched to an apartment on Church Hill Road, Chestertown for neighbors reporting a disturbance. Upon arrival, Sgt. Duke Johnston met with two subjects who were being loud and disorderly. Johnston checked both subjects for warrants and learned that the female, Ruth V. Leager had an active final protection order against Mr. Veltre. Ms. Leager stated she had rescinded the order several weeks ago but a check indicated that the order was still active and Mr. Veltre was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff's Office. He was later released by a District Court Commissioner and given a ride to a friend's residence.
