Stolen Truck in Stevensville

Narrative:

Deputy Svehla was dispatched to the rear Champion Reality for a suspicious vehicle parked there. Upon arrival Svehla located a red & white ford pickup that had a broken side window and the ignition missing. The tag on the vehicle was checked and the truck was not listed as stolen. The owner was contacted and advised that the truck had been vandalized recently and had been towed to a repair shop in Stevensville. Further investigation revealed that the truck had been repaired and was ready to be picked up by the owner.

The owner arranged to have the vehicle towed back to the repair shop for additional repairs. The investigation remains open at this time. The truck had a value of an estimated $8000
