Alarm Results in CDS Arrest

Narrative:

Following an alarm call at a business in Rainbow Plaza, Dfc. Steenken checked a 2006 Toyota parked there. While checking the car, Steenken could smell the odor of marijuana and could see a smoking device. Upon checking the business, an employee was located inside. The subject, Marc Lester indicated that the Toyota was his and that everything inside the car was also his.

A search of the car resulted in the seizure of the smoking device, a small prescription bottle with suspected marijuana, rolling papers and a plastic baggie with suspected marijuana.

It was determined that Mr. Lester is an employee of the business and had entered the store and had entered the wrong user code to the alarm system.

A District Court Commissioner set bail at $5,000.
