Incident: Driving Suspended Date / Time: 01/23/2010 @ 2117 hrs. Location: Rt. 213 @ Rt. 309 Arrested: Gabriel Butler (32) of Cambridge, MD. Charges: Driving Suspended & other traffic offenses
Narrative: Dep. Gore was working traffic enforcement in the area of Rt. 213 and Rt. 309 at which time he observed a vehicle traveling 70 MPH in a posted 55 MPH zone. A traffic stop was made and license check was requested on the driver. Information received was the driver, Gabriel Butler had a license that was suspended/revoked. Butler was arrested and later taken before the court commissioner's office where he was released on Personal Recognizance..

Incident: Driving W/O License Date / Time: 01/23/2010 @ 2313 hrs. Location: Main Street @ Castle Marina Road Arrested: Martin Mercado Alanis (26) of Stevensville, MD Charge: Driving w/o license
Narrative: Dep. Kellogg was working traffic enforcement in the area of Main Street and Castle Marina Road. During that time she observed a vehicle operating without tag lights. A traffic stop was made and license check was completed through dispatch. Information received was the driver, Martin M. Alanis had no current driver's license to operate a motor vehicle. Alanis was arrested and taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was released on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Assault Date / Time: 01/24/2010 @ 0252 hrs. Location: 401 Thompson Creek Road (Shell Gas Station) Victim: Stephanie Quarles of Denton, MD
Narrative: Dep. Kellogg observed a female waiving her arms trying to flag down motorists. Dep. Kellogg made contact with the female, Stephanie Quarles who reported she had a heated argument with her boyfriend during which time he allegedly assaulted her and then left her stranded in the area. Quarles did not wish to pursue any criminal charges and was assisted in locating a way home.

Incident: Theft Date / Time: 01/23/2010 @ 2027 hrs. Location: 125 Ruthsburg Road, Centreville, MD. Victim: William Seitzer of Crumpton, MD
Narrative: Dfc. Schwink was contacted by the victim reference to a Theft complaint. The victim reported that unknown suspect(s) had removed a hood ornament from his 2007 Jeep while it was parked in the parking lot of the Queen Anne's County High School. The hood ornament was described as a 4 inch by 3 inch metal elephant with one leg raised and was valued at $50.

Incident: Theft Date / Time: 1/19/2010 @ 1148 hrs. Location: 3701 Main Street (Queenstown Bank), Queenstown Arrested: Kimberley Christina Kelley (27) of Grasonville, MD Charge: Theft - Bad Check
Narrative: Queenstown Bank reported a Bad Check complaint that the listed suspect on four occasions had passed bad checks on a USAA Federal Savings Bank Account worth approximately $350.00. Cpl. Carr applied for and received charging documents in regards to this incident. Case closed by arrest.

Incident: Theft Date & Time 1/26/2010 1111 hrs Location: 300 Block White House Rd Grasonville, MD Victim: Jennifer Hughes of Grasonville, MD
Narrative: Victim reported a green 2006 Kawasaki (KVF750) Brute Force four wheeler was stolen from the residence. The Kawasaki was chained to the exterior of a shed at the residence. The lock and chain was cut and the vehicle removed from the scene. The ATV was valued at $9000.

Incident: Assault 2nd Degree Date & Time Reported: 1/25/2010 1255 hrs Location: 211 Pinder Hill Rd Church Hill, MD Victim: Blanco Gonzales Arrested: Roman Ovalle Cruz Charges: Assault 2nd Degree Narrative: Dfc. Parkinson responded to the location for an assault. The victim reported that her hair had been pulled and was hit twice in the face by the back of the suspect's hand. The suspect, Roman Cruz was placed under arrest with out incident for assault 2nd degree. The suspect was processed and then taken to the District Court Commissioner where he was released Personal Recognizance. Cruz was held on an ICE detainer and transported to the Queen Anne's County Detention Center.

Incident: Theft Date & Time Reported: 01/27/10 1903 Hrs. Location: 321 Timber Lane, Grasonville MD Victim: Robert Smith of Grasonville, MD
Narrative: Dep. Gore responded to Timber Lane for a theft of a Rolex watch. Mr. Smith advised that between the hours of 1000 on January 24, 2010 and 1600 hours on January 26, 2010 an unknown person (s) removed a silver & gold Rolex from his bedroom dresser, along with a gold sequined purse that was also in the room. The victim advised that there were 7-10 young neighborhood children, varying in ages from 2-9 years old in the residence during that time and that he had spoken with the parents asking to be advised if the items were found.

Incident: D.W.I Date & Time Reported: 01/20/2010 @ 2325 hours Location: Romancoke Road and Vestfield Road, Stevensville, MD Arrested: Allison Elizabeth Veltri (30) of Stevensville, MD Charge: DWI
Narrative: Deputy Jordan responded to the area of Vestfield Rd. for a vehicle that hit a tree and went in to a ditch. Upon arrival Deputy Jordan made contact with the driver Allison Elizabeth Veltri who stated that she lost control of her vehicle and went into the ditch. Deputy Jordan noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. Field sobriety test was given and the Veltri was unable to complete the test as directed and was arrested for DWI. She was later released to a sober family member.

Incident: Theft from Vehicle, Malicious Destruction of Property Date & Time Reported: 01/20/2010 @ 0759 hrs Location: 105 Lime Court Millington, MD Victim: Darrell Morgan of Millington, MD
Narrative: Deputy Parkinson investigated damages done to a vehicle, and theft of property in Millington, MD. Investigation revealed that sometime between 2130 hrs on 01/19/2010, and 0759 hrs on 01/20/2010, unknown suspect(s) broke a window out of the victim's Ford truck, and removed his wallet. Damages to the vehicle are estimated at approximately $300, and the property taken at approximately $24.

Incident: Motor Vehicle Accident with Injury Date & Time Reported: 01/25/2010 @ 0939 hrs Location: 200 block Perlee Road Centreville, MD Victim: Matthew Crow of St. Michaels, MD
Narrative: Corporal Russell investigated a single vehicle collision on Perlee Road in Centreville, MD. Investigation revealed that a 2003 Ford truck operated by Matthew Crow was traveling in the 200 block of Perlee Road, lost control on a turn, left the roadway, and overturned. The driver (Crow) suffered minor injuries, and was transported by Goodwill Fire Company to Easton Hospital for treatment. Heavy rains and wet roadways are believed to have contributed to the collision.

Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property over $500 value Date & Time Reported: 01/26/2010 1118 hrs Location: Beach Harbor Campground, 111 Saddler Road, Lot #218D Grasonville, MD Victim: Bradley Williams of White Marsh, MD
Narrative: DFC Pinkosz investigated extensive damages done to a home, a boat, and a recreational vehicle at an address in the Beach Harbor Campground in Grasonville, MD. Investigation has revealed that between 1200 hrs on 01/21/2010 and 1000 hrs on 01/26/2010, unknown suspect(s) threw paint and other corrosive substances on the victim's boat, home exterior, golf cart, deck, and picnic table. The suspect(s) also damaged the victim's deck railing, and threw patio furniture into a nearby waterway. The damages to the victim's property are estimated at more than $45,000.00. Additional investigation is being conducted by the Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Unit.

Incident: Commercial Burglary Date & Time Reported: 01/26/2010 at 0709 hrs Location: Golmojak Block, 6608 Ocean Gateway Queenstown, MD Victim: Golmojak Block
Narrative: Corporal Russell investigated a burglary to the Golmojak Block in Queenstown, MD. that revealed sometime between 1700 hrs on 01/25/2010 and 0600 hrs on 01/26/2010, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the business at various locations, causing approximately $1,500.00 in damages to building components. It is unknown what property was taken from the business. Investigation is ongoing by the Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Unit.
