Incident: 2nd Degree Burglary Date & Time Reported: 01/24/2010 @ 0930 Hours Location: Kent Manor Drive Stevensville, MD Victim: Kent Manor

Narrative:. Deputy Rickard responded to Kent Manor Drive in Stevensville in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival Dep. Rickard was advised that someone had broken into the Manor and stole 3 bottles of liquor. The total loss is approx. $135.00. This incident was assigned to the Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Unit for further investigation. Anyone with information is requested to call (410) 758 0770.

Incident: Medical Emergency Date & Time Reported: 01/23/2010 @ 1730 Hours Location: Prospect Bay Drive Grasonville, MD Victim: Female (32) of Grasonville

Narrative: Deputy Rickard responded to Prospect Bay Drive in Grasonville in reference to an overdose. On arrival Deputy Rickard was advised that the female had taken several prescription pills and made statements that she wanted to end her life. EMS was also on scene and transported her to the hospital for treatment.

Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property under $500 Date & Time Reported: 01/24/2010 @ 1245 Hours. Location: Monroe Manor Drive Stevensville, MD Victim: Steven Staniszewski of Stevensville

Narrative: Deputy Rickard responded to Monroe Manor Drive in Stevensville in reference to a reported Malicious Destruction of Property. The victim, Mr. Staniszewski advised that they had discovered that someone broken a window pane to his residence. The approximate value of the window is $250.00

Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property Date & Time Reported: 01/24/2010 @ 1036 Hours Location: Main Street Sudlersville, MD Victim: Katherine N. Elburn of Sudlersville Arrested: Male (14) of Centreville Charges: Malicious Destruction of Property

Narrative: Cpl. Lowery responded to Sudlersville where he was met by the victim who advised that sometime overnight while her vehicle was parked on Main Street in Sudlersville, someone attempted to pick the lock on her truck and damaged it. She then advised that some kids were begging her for some cigarettes earlier in the evening and believe they may have done it. She advised that she had cigarettes inside of her truck. Cpl. Lowery located the suspects in Sudlersville and one of the juveniles admitted that he did try to break into the vehicle in an attempt to get cigarettes. He was referred to juvenile services.

Incident: Medical Emergency Date & Time Reported: 01/24/2010 @ 1209 Hours. Location: Bowers Road Chestertown, MD Victim: Female (22) of 2 year old female

Narrative: Cpl. Lowery and Sgt. Johnston responded to an address on Bowers Road in reference to a possible overdose. Contact was made with the female who advised she took several prescription pills and stated she wanted to leave this world. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

Incident: Possession of Marijuana Date & Time Reported: 01/23/2010 @ 1624 Hours Location: Queen Anne's County High School Arrested: Male (15) from Berlin, MD Male (15) from Berlin, MD Charges: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia

Narrative: Dfc. Brockman responded to the Queen Anne's County High School for a report of two male juveniles possibly smoking marijuana in the boy's locker room during a sports event. On arrival Dfc. Brockman met with a coach from the visiting school who advised when he went into the locker room he could smell the odor of marijuana and observed one of the juveniles throw something out of the window. Dfc. Brockman searched the outside area and retrieved an apple with suspected marijuana inside of it. Dfc. Brockman spoke with the juveniles about the incident who admitted they were in fact smoking marijuana using the apple as a smoking device in the locker room. The suspected marijuana was sent to the crime lab for analysis. The two boys were referred to Juvenile Services

Incident: Theft over $500 Date & Time Reported: 01/27/2010 @ 11026 Hours Location: Parks Way Grasonville, MD Victim: Richard Phillips

Narrative: Cpl. Lowery responded to Parks Way in Grasonville in reference to a theft. The victim, Mr. Phillips advised that someone stole six windows and two ladders from his residence. The total value of the property was $1,100.00. The theft occurred between 01/22/2010 and 01/27/2010.

Incident: Theft over $500 Date & Time Reported: 01/28/2010 @ 0730 Hours Location: Ruthsburg Road Centreville, MD Victim: Steven Higdon

Narrative: Dfc. Steenken met with the victim, Mr. Higdon who advised that he had discovered 20 Bigfoot goose decoys and 18 Greenhead goose decoy shells worth approx. $675 missing from a farm on Ruthsburg Road. Anyone with information is requested to call the Sheriff's Office at 410.758.0770

Incident: Assault / Arson Threat Date & Time Reported: 01/28/2010 @ 1504 Hours Location: Poplar School Road Centreville, MD Victim: Parent of Centreville, MD Arrested: Male (16) of Centreville, MD Charges: 2nd Degree Assault, MDOP, Threat of Arson, Reckless Endangerment

Narrative: Cpl. Lowery and Dfc. Steenken were dispatched to an address on Poplar School Road Centreville in reference to a Domestic in progress. The father advised the deputies that his son was punished earlier and he began breaking things in his room, punching holes in the walls of the residence, and grabbed a pair of scissors, threatening to stab him and burn his house down. The 16 year old suspect then fled the area. Sheriff's units were able to locate the suspect in a nearby house where he was taken into custody and later held by Juvenile Services

Incident: Assault 2nd Date & Time Reported: 01/30/10 at 1850 Location: 1416 Barclay Rd., Barclay, Md. 21607 Victim: Dennis Cain

Narrative: Dfc. Goodman responded to Barclay for a disturbance complaint. On arrival Antonio Harris reported that he and his cousin had gotten into a physical altercation after an argument over the phone. There were no injuries. Both subjects were referred to District Court Commissioner's Office for criminal charges.
