DETAILS: Dfc. Cooper responded to Chester River Heights Road Millington, MD in reference to a past Malicious Destruction of Property complaint. Upon arriving at the location, Dfc. Cooper made contact with the victim who advised that someone had damaged the plastic window to his 2016 Jeep causing approximately $200.00 in damages.

LOCATION: Phillips Garage 119 East Main Street Sudlersville, MD 21668
VICTIM: 31 y.o. male Milford, DE
DETAILS: Dep. Dickey responded to Phillips Garage in Sudlersville, MD in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, she spoke with the victim who advised he left his wallet at the garage earlier and when he returned to pick it up, there was $200.00 missing from it. The investigation is ongoing and evidence is being reviewed.

LOCATION: Food Lion 300 Thompson Creek Mall Stevensville, MD 21666
VICTIM: Food Lion
CHARGED: Pending
DETAILS: Deputies responded to the Food Lion located at the Thompson Creek Mall Stevensville, MD for a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the suspects had left the area. Deputies were advised that 2 males were seen stuffing items in his pants and in a females purse. As the subjects approached the self-checkout area, an employee confronted them and they removed the items and left the store. The total value of the groceries was $123.00 This incident is still under investigation.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS not Marijuana

LOCATION: Rt. 313 in front of Sudlersville Fire House
ARREST: James McCarthy 26 y.o. male from Preston, MD
Possession of CDS not Marijuana
Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
DETAILS: While patrolling, Dfc. Cooper observed a black Hyundai passenger car swerve out of the travel portion of the roadway twice and he also observed a large crack in the windshield of the vehicle. He conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in front of the Sudlersville Fire House. Cpl. Martz conducted a K-9 scan of the vehicle resulting in a positive alert by K-9 Spike. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a small amount of suspected marijuana and crack / cocaine were recovered. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle were arrested and processed. He was later released on an unsecured bond by the District Court Commissioner’s Office.

INCIDENT: Controlled Dangerous Substance Violation
DATE / TIME: 1/14/18 at 12:10AM
LOCATION: Rt. 301 @ Rt. 19, Centreville, Md. 21619
Arrest: Sincere Pelzer 32yo of Smyrna, De
DETAIL: Dfc. Prince conducted a traffic stop on a 2017 Nissan Passenger car on Rt. 301 near Rt 19 in Church Hill, Md. Dfc. Prince made contact with the driver, Aneshea Lankford (29yo) and the passenger, Sincere Pelzer (32yo). Upon speaking with them, a strong odor of marijuana was detected by Dfc. Prince. As a result, a search of the vehicle was conducted and Suspected Marijuana less than 10 grams, was located. Mr. Pelzer admitted it was theirs and was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana, less than 10grams. Ms.Lankford was issued a traffic citation for speeding.
