INCIDENT:   Motor Vehicle Collision involving pedestrian

DATE / TIME:   03/26/18 @ 04:11 AM

LOCATION:   Domino’s Pizza @ 386 Thompson Creek Road, Stevensville, MD

INVOVLED DRIVER:   19 yr. old male from Chester, MD

INVOLVED VEHICLE:   2013 Ford Focus, MD Registration 3DE8354

INVOLVED PEDESTRIAN:   71 yr. old female from Baltimore, MD

DETAILS:  While attempting to back up out of a parking space, the driver of vehicle looked but did not see the pedestrian walking behind his vehicle.  Vehicle struck the pedestrian knocking the pedestrian to the ground.  EMS responded and treated the pedestrian.  The pedestrian was transported to the Queen Anne E.R. for further examination.  Very minor injury was reported.

INCIDENT:                   Driving While Intoxicated

 

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:           03-27-18 2:37am

LOCATION:                 Rt 50 and Arrington Road, Queenstown, MD 21658

NARRATIVE:              On 03-27-18 at approximately 2:37 am, Dfc Piasecki conducted a traffic stop on a dark colored passenger car in the area of Route 50 and Arrington for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, who was later identified as Paul Ferreri, Dfc Piasecki smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage. He requested the driver perform standardized field sobriety test. The test indicated the driver was under the influence and he was subsequently arrest for driving while intoxicated. The driver refused to submit to a breath test and was issued traffic citations prior to being released on his signature to a sober party.

INCIDENT:      Theft under $1,000 and MDOP under $1,000.

DATE / TIME:  3/25/18 at 11:34AM

LOCATION:  Terrapin Nature Park, Stevensville, Md. 21666

DETAIL:    Dep. Barlow responded for the theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim who advised that unknown suspect(s) had smashed out the passenger window of her car and stole her purse. The purse and its contents have a total value of $175. The victim has a 2013 Audi suv, white in color. The crime occurred on 3/25/18 sometime between 10:15AM and 11:15AM. INCIDENT:  CDS

DATE / TIME:  3/25/2018 at 1:31 Am

LOCATION:  E/B Rt50 at 404 Queen Anne’s County

Charged: Michael Anthony Marconi 37 of Ocean City MD.

DETAILS : On 3/25/2018 around 1:30 Am CPL. Martz was on patrol in the area of E/B Rt50 just prior to 404 when he conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge passenger vehicle for a traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver who was identified as Michael Marconi. An odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. Back up units arrived on scene and CPL.Martz retrieved his K-9 partner Spike from his vehicle to conduct a scan. There was a positive alert from Spike and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Marijuana in the amount less than 10 grams was located. Marconi was issued a civil citation and released from the scene.

INCIDENT:      Theft under $1,000.

DATE / TIME:  3/24/18 at 2:44PM

LOCATION:  Calvin Klein – 121 Outlet Center Drive., Queenstown, Md. 21658

DETAIL:    Dep. Patikowski responded for a shoplifting complaint, called in by an employee there.. Upon arrival, the suspect was still on scene and identified (Silvia Maribel Zamora 54yo female of Lanham, Md). Further investigation revealed that she had placed a stolen black, leather wallet in her purse, valued at $59.50. The wallet was recovered and returned to Calvin Klein. Charges are pending for Theft.

INCIDENT:      CDS not Marijuana

DATE / TIME:   03/23/2018 approximately 1430 hours

LOCATION:      505 Railroad Ave., Centreville MD

ARRESTED:     Lisa Lyn Lloyd, 41yo female of Chestertown

DETAILS:        A female, identified as Lisa Lloyd, came into the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff to make a complaint. While at the Office of the Sheriff, Deputies smelled a distinct odor of Marijuana on her person. A consent search was completed on Lloyd’s vehicle, which was a blue in color, PT cruiser, bearing the Maryland registration 2CW6378. During the consent search, items were located such as prescription bottles that had been altered, prescriptions not belonging to Lloyd, 2 smoking devices containing less than 10g of Marijuana, and unidentifiable plastic capsules containing suspected heroin.

Lloyd was placed under arrest and charged with:

  1. CDS possess not Marijuana
  2. CDS possess paraphernalia
  3. Opiates- without prescription Schedule II
  4. CDS obtain by Alter Prescription
  5. Possession Marijuana less than 10g (Civil Citation)

Lloyd was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released pending trial

INCIDENT:                   Identity Theft

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:  03-26-18 5:21pm

LOCATION:                 300 Blk of Crouse Mill Road, Queen Anne, MD 21657

NARRATIVE:              ON 03-26-18 at 5:21pm, Cpl Bassaro was contacted by Kamilah Brittingham in reference to an Identity Theft. The victim advised that another female had contacted Verizon wireless posing as her to make changes to her account. The victim advised that these changes caused the billing and password information to change on her account. She further advised that her account was now out of minutes and data due to the changes. The victim advised that based upon the changes made to the account, she believed the suspect was from Parkville, MD.

INCIDENT:                   CDS Not Marijuana – Warrant Arrest

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:           03/28/18 1:53am

LOCATION:                 S/B Rt. 301 and Rt. 544

NARRATIVE:              On 03-28-18 at 1:53 am, Dfc Piasecki observed a dark in color Oldsmobile passenger car traveling South on Rt 301 prior to Rt 544. The vehicle did not have an operational tag light. Dfc Piasecki conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the two occupants inside. The driver identified himself as Adam Thomas of Dover Delaware and the passenger identified herself as Destiny Thomas of Millington Maryland. Dfc Piasecki conducted a license and warrant check on the driver and learned that he did not have a valid license and that he was wanted by the State of Delaware. He then conducted a warrant check on the passenger and learned that she was wanted by the Maryland State Police. A check of the vehicle’s registration revealed that the vehicle was not registered and the tags were issued to another vehicle. Both occupants were detained and a K9 scan of the vehicle was conducted. The vehicle was subsequently searched and suspected heroin was located. Both occupants were arrested and transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing.

INCIDENT:  Motor Vehicle Collision

DATE / TIME:    03/27/18 @ 01:11 PM

LOCATION:   Lots Road / Old Love Point Road Stevensville, MD

DETAILS:  A vehicle was traveling west on Lots Road when the vehicle crossed the east bound lane and left the roadway.  The vehicle struck a fire hydrant in the 300 block of Lots Road.  The vehicle was abandoned at the scene and found by QAC Public Works.  This event was reported to have occurred on 03/21/18.  A registration of the vehicle revealed that it was registered to the suspect. This case is currently under investigations. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Office of the Sheriff and request to speak with Deputy Bush.

INCIDENT:   CDS: Marijuana Less than 10 grams

DATE / TIME:   3/27/18 @ 11:41 AM

LOCATION:   Westbound 50 at Duke Street in Stevensville

DEFENDANT:  Shannon C. Frazier, Age 22, W, F of Columbia, MD

DETAILS:  Deputies pulled over the above listed Defendant for a moving violation at west bound Rt.50 at Duke Street, Stevensville, Maryland. Deputy Pack approached the vehicle and detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  A probable cause search was conducted and less than 10 grams of marijuana was located in the passenger area.  The driver, Shannon C. Frazier was issued a civil citation and the appropriate citations for the traffic violation.                .
