INCIDENT:           THEFT

DATE / TIME:      03/22/2013 @ 1219 Hours

LOCATION:         221 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:               Tommy Hilfiger

ARREST:               Pending

CHARGE:              Theft

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to the Outlets after Security there reported a shoplifter at Tommy Hilfiger. The original call was for a male stealing two shirts. Security located the man and  had him return to the store and return the items. Thinking he may have stolen other items, employees reviewed security video and discovered the same man had shoved a sweatshirt or sweater into his pants. Again Security located the man and again the sweater was returned. The subject was driving a red Mitsubishi Lancer with MD registration. Investigation indicated that the owner had an address in Montgomery Village, MD. Montgomery Police were contacted and checked the area without locating the car. Follow-up investigation through MVA records resulted in developing a suspect –Michael H. Barrera-Mojica (19) from Seaford Delaware. Delaware driver’s license photo of the male was identified by store employees as the suspect. Charges have been issued on 3/25 for Theft under $100.

LOCATION:         300 Block of Calvert Drive, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Merton Rice of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported sometime between September to date someone had taken several pieces of jewelry from his residence. Missing was a platinum women’s ring with sapphires, a silver man’s watch, a gold man’s watch with white, yellow and rose gold, and a gold Jeep pin. The jewelry was valued at $4700.

INCIDENT:           DWI Arrest

DATE / TIME:      03/23/2013 @ 0317 Hours

LOCATION:         RT 301 @ Outlet Drive, Queenstown

 

ARREST:               Erin Nicole Adams (36) of Philadelphia, PA             

CHARGE:              DWI

 

NARRATIVE:        A report of a possible intoxicated driver driving a green Ford station wagon leaving a convenience store in Queenstown was broadcast. Dfc. Fraser in the area located the car and saw the car traveling 30 MPH on RT 301 (55 MPH), tapping the brakes continually and then pulling to the shoulder. The driver was contacted and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was present. The driver also had difficulty locating a driver’s license , passing it several times.  After attempting several field sobriety tasks, Erin N. Adams was placed under arrest for DWI. After issuance of a citation and related documents, she was released to a sober friend.

LOCATION:         100 Block of Norwood Drive, Sudlersville

VICTIM:               Jennifer Baldwin of Sudlersville

ARREST:               Pending

CHARGE:              Assault 2nd Degree

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to location for a domestic assault. Prior to arrival, the male half had fled the scene. On arrival the female victim (5’1” & 120 Pounds) was visibly shaken and her left eye was swollen and bruised with red marks on her neck. She advised that her boyfriend of five months had struck her with his closed fist. Due to her injuries and reported dizziness, Baldwin was flown to Shock Trauma. The boyfriend was described as Barton Helton Brown W/M  6’0” 270 Pounds.  At this time Brown is charged with Assault 2nd Degree and is believed to be in Rising Sun or Delaware.

DATE / TIME:      03/24/2013 @ 0518 Hours

LOCATION:         First Street, Queen Anne

VICTIM:               Dena P. Anthony of Queen Anne

ARREST:               Pending

CHARGE:              Assault

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded to residence in response of an assault. On arrival they met with Dena Anthony who reported finding her boyfriend with another woman. After throwing the woman out, she confronted her boyfriend and admitted to slapping him. Victim stated that the boyfriend then struck in her the face and chocked her, struck her again in the head and threw her to the floor. He then took her ATM card and left the residence. Anthony had visible injuries to her face, arms and hands with marks on her neck. The room which the victim said the assault occurred had blood on the floor & bed and a broken computer monitor. Two other persons at the house reported hearing the argument and items being knocked to the floor.

 

Charges are pending.

LOCATION:         422 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:               Carter’s

ARREST:               Camille Nichole Brooks (29) of Salisbury

                              Craig Maurice Brumskin (23) of Salisbury

CHARGE:              Theft

 

NARRATIVE:        Employees at Carter’s reported a female shoplifting at the store and then left the outlets in a red Ford Focus with Delaware plates. Deputies on patrol located the car going westbound on RT 50 near Jackson Creek Road Grasonville. The female driver, Camille Brooks fit the description given by Carters as the suspect. During the interview of the driver, she denied being at the Outlets. The male passenger, when interviewed advised

They were from Salisbury, that Brooks had been in Carters and that she had stolen several items, that he had been in the store but he wasn’t involved. When the car was checked, bibs, children’s shirts, shorts and sundresses were recovered with a retail value of $354.00 

 

Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Sheriff’s Headquarters. After processing they were taken before a District Court Commissioner who released Brooks on her personal Recognizance and held Brumskin on a $3000 Bail.
