INCIDENT: Theft under $1,000
DATE / TIME: 6/15/18 at 1:04PM
LOCATION: 30 blk of Matthew Drive, Crumpton, Md. 21628
VICTIM: 32yo female of Crumpton, Md
DETAILS: Dfc. Cooper responded to the above address in reference to a theft. The victim advised that her Kindle Fire HD 8 32GB tablet, black in color, was stolen from her outside table. The theft took place sometime between 6/13/18 at 3 PM and 6/15/18 at 12 pm, by unknown suspect(s). She estimated the value of the tablet to be $100. If you have any information related to this incident, please contact the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.

INCIDENT: Malicious Destruction of Property (MDOP)
DATE/TIME: 06/15/2018 at 6:42 PM
LOCATION: 1800 blk of Stevens Drive Chester, MD 21619
VICTIM: 29yo male of Chester, MD & 43yo female of Chester, MD
DETAILS: Dep. Carnaggio responded to the above address for a complaint of a Malicious Destruction of Property. Upon arrival, Dep. Carnaggio made contact with both victims regarding the damage that was done to their fence. It is unknown exactly when the damage was done. It appeared some of the rings holding the chain link were cut and/or filed down with an unknown tool. Total damage was estimated to be approximately $100.00.

INCIDENT: Attempted Commercial Burglary

LOCATION: Nonna Maria’s Pizzeria, 5306 Church Hill Road Church Hill, MD 21623
VICTIM: Nonna Maria’s Pizzeria
DETAILS: Dfc. Jones responded to the Nonna Maria’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant for an attempted burglary that occurred sometime the night before. Dfc. Jones was advised that one of the windows was busted. However, it appeared that no one had made entry into the building. Also, nothing inside appeared to be missing or disturbed. Anyone that witnessed any suspicious activity on Saturday night is asked to contact Dfc. Jones at 410-758-0770 ext. 1266

LOCATION: Thompson Avenue Queenstown, MD
VICTIM: 18yo female of Queenstown, MD
DETAILS: Dep. Barlow was dispatched to Thompson Avenue for a theft from a vehicle. Dep. Barlow met with the victim who advised that between 6/16/18 and 6/17/18 someone stole her pink Vera Bradley wallet containing cash, credit cards, and identification out of her vehicle. There was no damage to her vehicle.

VICTIM: 41yo female of Centreville, MD
CHARGED: Pending
DETAILS: Dep. Carnaggio responded to the above address for a theft. Dep. Carnaggio met with the victim, who advised that someone had stolen $600.00 cash from her purse. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, a suspect was detected and charges are now pending. This investigation is still ongoing.

INCIDENT: Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
DATE / TIME: 6/17/2018 at 7:55PM
LOCATION: Westbound Rt. 50 @ Castle Marina Road Chester, MD
CHARGED: Arnold Belton Jr., 19yo male of Upper Marlboro, MD
DETAILS: Dep. Custis performed a traffic stop, in the area of Rt. 50 and Castle Marina Road, on a driver displaying suspended tags. Upon making contact with the driver, Dep. Custis smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Dep. Custis had the occupants of the vehicle exit the vehicle for a search and upon doing so; Belton Jr. stated he had marijuana inside the vehicle. The marijuana was seized and Belton Jr. was charged on a civil citation and released on his signature.
